Modi Wave is Turning into tsunami

Popular tea vender at Assi Chowk selling tea for 75 years feels Modi will positively do something substantial for Banaras

Pappu Chaiwala, the city’s popular tea vender at Assi Chowk enjoys high regard in the city. His shop, famous as Pappu Ki Adi, is a centre where extensive debates onvarious topics take place everyday. People from all ideologies sit together and discuss different issues threadbare over the cup of tea. During ‘Chai Par Charach’ programme of Modi on February 12, a big screen was installed outside his shop and people from all walks of life interacted with Modi. “Modi wave is now fast turning into tsunami after his nomination on April 24. The reason is people of Banaras feel Modi will positively do something substantial for them. The way Modi connected himself to the Ganga and many other local issues also deeply touched the people,” says the veteran tea vender.

“Battle of Banaras”

Stop Modi! Stop Modi!!

By hook or by crook!

Only agenda by all rivals,

No other means in the book!

‘Congress’ has long lost,

It's political ‘glare’!

That ‘daring’ ‘aam aadmi’,

Now doesn’t have the flare!!‘

Cycles’ and ‘elephants’ are too slow,

To catch Modi’s rapid pace;

He only can take the chequered flag,

In this one-sided political race!!

Don’t label me partisan;

But I certainly know,

‘Shiva’ shall not be unjust,

To such a diligent fellow!!
