$img_titleBelying all attempts by ‘secular brigade’ to create a sense of fear among Muslims, some Muslim women have taken the initiative of mobilising Muslim women across the country for Shri Narendra Modi. The initiative has clicked and the number of Muslim women turning to such interactions is highly encouraging. Beginning from March 6, around 100 such meetings are to be organised across the country till March 30. The meetings are jointly being organised by Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) and BJP minority cell.

A similar meeting was organised on March 8 at Nuhun of Mewat region in Haryana, where Muslim women literacy rate is said just 3 per cent. About 200 rural Muslim women attended the meeting and discussed their issues freely. They said they are repeatedly frightened by some people about Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was for the first time that an exclusive meeting of Muslim women was organised in Mewat.

$img_titleThe prime agenda of the meetings is to educate women about their health and literacy issues and how to move ahead in the life. They are told if Narendra Modi is voted to power, there would be no discrimination and every citizen would get equal opportunity for progress.

Prominent among those who addressed the meeting in Mewat included national convener of Muslim Rashtriya Manch women wing Smt Reshma Hussain, joint convener Smt Shehnaz Afzal, national general secretary of BJP minority cell Prof Nahida Sheikh and national council member of Muslim Rashtriya Manch Smt Shama Khan. Apart from it, former Vice Chancellor of different universities of Haryana Dr Sarvananda Arya and Col Abdul Rasool Khan, who fought three battles for India, also gave tips how to move forward in different spheres of life. The entire function was conducted and managed by women only.

Similar meetings are being organised in Hyderabad and surrounding 23 Assembly segments. The prominent face who conducting such meetings are Smt Tayiabba Affendi, who played a key role in organising 17 such meetings. Through these meetings, the fear created in the minds of Muslim women is being eradicated and they are being assured that the BJP believes in the development of all. They are also telling that the BJP is for creating an atmosphere in the county where every citizen could live a fearless life and the unfinished tasks of Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee could be finished. The women also asked some questions, which were suitably answered by Tayiabba Affendi.

Similarly, the meetings are being organised in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Smt Munavvari Begham is working tirelessly to educate women in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. At several places the dialogue between the Muslims and non-Muslim women is also being conducted. In Uttar Pradesh, the state president of BJP’s minority cell Smt Rumana Siddique is touring for the meetings.

In all the meetings, Narendra Modi’s views on practical empowerment of women and other issues related to women are being highlighted. Most of the meetings are being organised in rural areas, where the women do not have much access to modern means of communication due to various reasons.
