Another Concocted Conspiracy to Demonise Hindutva

One Conspiracy, Many Questions:

1.How come the Caravan journalist was permitted to interview an accused in bomb blast case?

2.If the interview was carried for two years, why the facts were not revealed before the investigating agencies?

3.When the case is in advanced stage, how and why this interference in judicial process allowed?

4.Why such stories with ‘saffron’ tag come up in the election season?

5.Is the Caravan has better investigation mechanism that NIA or ATS?

6.When Swami Aseemananda himself denied charges against him and alleged torture for forceful confession, where is the question of any secret meeting or blessing?

In another Conspiracy of demonising Hindutva, a self-declared journal of politics and culture The Caravan in one of its “artfully constructed stories” (that is what the magazine claims in its introduction) dared to link RSS with terror attacks. With its purpose of developing stories “crafted into dramatic narratives that employ pace, colour, character and style to keep the reader hooked”, it was sold to the 24X7 news channel with all the required spices.

Based on (self-claimed) months of reporting and research, a long story on Swami Aseemananda’s interview, who is in Ambala jail and main accused in the Samjhauta Express blasts case, alleged that top RSS leadership knew and sanctioned terror activities. The report also claims that interview was taken for period of over two years. The story also tries to link many issues right from Gandhi assassination to Narendra Modi.

This is not for the first time that such allegations are made. Some time ago, Ganesh Sovani, an advocate for Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, an accused in the Malegaon case, said, “The ultimate objective of such probes is to ban the RSS. The Congress through the NIA will do whatever it takes to get the RSS banned.” The RSS has time again made it clear that it neither believes in nor supports any activity involving violence or terror. RSS has always been cooperating with honest investigation conducted with due legal procedure.

The RSS has rubbished the report as “baseless”. Akhil Bhartiya Prachar Pramuh of the organisation, Dr Manmohan Vaidya termed the report “false and concocted”. “This is a political conspiracy. Aseemanand has clarified he never said this. We have to see the timing,” Ram Madhav, member of the RSS National Executive, said. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Prakash Javadekar, too, said the “baseless” story was propagated by the Congress’ “dirty tricks” department. Swamy Aseemanand’s lawyer also rejected the Caravan report and denied that the interview ever took place. He has warned a legal action against the magazine. Interestingly, NIA (National Investigation Agency) sources have clarified that during probe Aseemanand did not name any senior RSS leader. It is to be noted that the Home Minister had alleged that the RSS and BJP camps are promoting Hindu terror and later retracted from it.

Baseless allegations by media against RSS Chief: Ram Madhav

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) denied any involvement in any terror strike following allegations allegedly levelled against RSS chief Shri Mohan Bhagwat by Swami Aseemanand. “This is a political conspiracy. Aseemanand has clarified he never said this. We have to see the timing,” said RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sah Sampark Pramukh Shri Ram Madhav. “We condemn this attempt to bring back the false allegations. Such false allegations were made earlier to defame RSS leadership but they were proved to be wrong. Aseemanand, in the court and outside, denied making such statements. Questions arise on the authenticity of the interview. The timing of the interview poses a political conspiracy,” he added.

Senior RSS functionary Shri MG Vaidya said that allegation by a media about Aseemanand’s statement is baseless. “All of it is a lie, imagination. Such acts will not be done by RSS. The Sangh does not tell someone to explode bombs; its job is character building, creating history. It has no connection with terror,” he said.

Sushil KumarShinde’s unconditional apology

“Reports have come during investigation that BJP and RSS conduct terror training camps to spread terrorism…” (19 th Jan 2013 at Jaipur)

My statement given in Jaipur last month has created a misunderstanding. It has been understood to mean that I was linking terrorism to particular religion and was accusing certain political organisation of being involved in organising terror camps. I had no intention of linking terrorism with any religion. There is no basis for suggesting that terror could be linked with the organisations mentioned in my brief speech at Jaipur. (on 20 th Feb, 2013 in a regret letter)

Congress leaders conspired to implicate top Sangh leaders in terror activities

Special Report

Sensational revelation by Ajmer blast accused Bhavesh Patel

In a shocking turn of events, one of the accused of 2007 Ajmer Blast Case Bhavesh Patel alleged that some senior Congress leaders including Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, Coal Minister Shriprakash Jaiswal, Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh, Minister of State for Home RPN Singh, and others pressurised him to falsely name the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Shri Mohan Bhagwat and senior RSS leader Shri Indresh Kumar in the blast case. He even alleged that his life is in danger, as some senior NIA officials are pressurising and beating him inhumanly. On September 26, he named Union Ministers Kapil Sibal and Rajiv Shukla also that after being made accused in this case he met both of them. Malegaon: Invisible hands behind the Blasts by Vikram Bhave

$img_titleFor the vote-bank politics, power corridors adopt all the tricks and that is the biggest irony of Indian democracy today. A youth, with his experiential pain of being in the jail on allegations of involvement in terror blasts comes up with a book in Marathi Malegaon—Bomb Sphotamagil Adrushya Hath (Malegaon – Invisible hands behind the Blasts). With support from Hindu Vidhidya Parishad (Hindu Lawyers Council), Vikram Bhave, a Marathi youth, who was implicated and subsequently released by the court, comes up with thoroughly investigative touching stories of the alleged culprits, both Hindus and Muslims.

Besides narrating the stories of all the characters involved in the cases of so called “Hindu terror”, Bhave raises pertinent questions about the whole process, serious lapses and contradictions in the investigation. Why the alleged perpetrators were arrested without the due procedure, how they were harassed and tortured, how could the evidences collected while arresting the Muslim youth for the Malegaon blasts be used for arresting some Hindu youths from different places, how did two unknown people hatch the conspiracy of bomb blasts without knowing each other and what is the larger conspiracy to raise the ‘Saffron Terror” bogey, are the serious questions author tried to address. Interestingly, author brings the links upto Ishrat Jahan and David Headly cases, which seriously creates doubts about the intentions and abilities of our investigative agencies and their masters.
