BMS workers felicitated on birth anniversary of Thengadiji

SOME senior BMS workers were felicitated in New Delhi on November 10 on the occasion of birth anniversary of BMS founder Dattopant Thengadi . The function, organised at Thengadi Bhavan, the BMS headquarters, was presided over by Delhi State president Shri VS Bhati.
Prominent among those who were felicitated included editor of BMS magazine Vishwakarma Sanket Shri Krishnalal Patela, senior activists Shri Amarnath Dogra, Shri Balkishan Jaggi, Shri Dhanwant Malik, Shri Rajkumar Gupta and Shri Yashpal Arora.
Speaking on the occasion, BMS national organising secretary Shri KC Mishra described Thengadiji as a far sighted person, who forecasted in 1967 itself that consumerism was going to face a severe fall world over and the US economy would collapse in the first decade of 21st centaury. Both these predictions proved correct. Shri Anil Mishra conducted the proceedings. Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included BMS deputy organising secretary Shri B Surendran, zonal organising secretary Shri Pawan Kumar, BMS national secretaries Shri Brijesh Upadhyaya (Delhi), Shri Entonba Singh (Manipur), Shri Jayantilal (Jaipur), BMS Delhi general secretary Shri Nagendra Pal Singh, zonal organsing secretary Shri Sudhakar Kulkarni (Maharashtra) State organising secretary of Assam Shri Narendra Rajwanshi.
