RSS Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal meeting in Kochi

Kochi: RSS Sarsanghachalak  Shri Mohan Bhagawat inaugurated the three day meet of Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal (ABKM) here on October 25. The ABKM is one of the highest body for policy formulation and decision making.

RSS Sarakaryavah Shri Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi accompanied Mohan Bhagwat during the inaugural. RSS apex body paid tributes to several national leaders, great personalities who expired since March-2013. Notable among them being Sant Bhadragiri Achuta Das (Popular Harikatha Performer), Ganesh who was serving as Bellary Vibhag Pracharak of RSS, Rajani Rai (former Lieutenant Governor of Pondicherry), Sivanthi Adithan (politician, minister and founder of the Tamil Daily Newspaper Daily Thanthi), Auditor Ramesh, BJP Tamilnadu State Unit General Secretary, Sri Vellaiyappan, Hindu Munnani (one of the State Secretary), Lalgudi Gopala Iyer Jayaraman (Carnatic violinist), Prathivadi Bhayankara Sreenivas (veteran playback singer) and few others.

Resolutions on Western Ghat Conservation and increase in radical elements among the Muslims in South India, were expected.

RSS Karnataka Pranth Sanghachalaks M. Venkataram and Khageshan Pattana Shetty,  RSS Pranth Karyavah N.Tippeswamy, Prof BV Shreedhara Swamy of Bangalore, and Aravinda Deshapande of Belgaum, Sridhar Nadiger, Pranth Pracharaks Mukunda, Shankaranand, Sah-Pranth Pracharak Sudhir and several other senior Sangh leaders of Karnataka are participating in ABKM.

State level select office bearers of RSS, National office bearers of Sangh affiliated (Sangh Parivar) organisations will attend all the three days of the meeting.

Prominent leaders from Bharateeya Kisan Sangh, working for the farmers; Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, a tribal welfare organisation; Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, one of the biggest student organisation of the country; Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, a leading trade union; Vishwa Hindu Parishad, a forum of Sadhus, Sants and Pontiffs; Bharatiya Janata Party, one of the two most important political parties of India; are attending the meeting.

Office bearers of Vidhya Bharati, Vijnana Bharati, Kreeda Bharati, Seva Bharati, Samskrit Bharati, Samskar Bharati, Laghu Udyog Bharati as well as leaders from Rashtra Sevika Samithi, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch, Deendayal Samshodhan Samsthan, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Shaikshanika Mahasangh, Dharmajagaran will be participating in the conclave.

Reports of activities of all these organisations will be submitted in the meeting. State wise activities of the RSS will be reviewed. Important national issues will be discussed and necessary resolutions will be passed in the meeting.

Began today, Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini Mandal Baitak (ABKM) or All India Executive Council Meeting will be concluding on Sunday October 27, 2013.  The meeting will deliberate on reviewing and future planning of organisational matters and activities and some resolutions on key national issues will be passed in the meeting.
