Budha Books organised a programme in Ankamali on September 30, 2013, to release the 3rd edition of Vivekananda Shila–Thapassum Porattavum (History of Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Kanyakumari) penned by T Satisan, M Rajasekhara Panicker and Kavalam Sasikumar and 2nd edition of Mahatma Ayyankali–Navodhanathinte Agninakshathram (Life history of Mahatma Ayyankali) authored by AR Mohanakrishnan. Vivekananda Shila’s 3rd edition is released hardly five months after the first edition, by Poet NK Deshom and received by Dr Edanadu Rajan Nambiar. Mahatma Ayyankali’s 2nd edition was released, about one month after the first edition, by Prof GK Moorthy and received by Engineer John Philippose. T Satisan, AR Mohanakrishnan and M Rajasekhara Panicker were felicitated. Writers addressed the gathering. Poet NK Deshom, Dr Rajan Nambiar, John Philippose and AT Santhosh, Anil and Ashokan of Budha Books spoke on the occasion.
