Fifth annual function of Panchwa Stambha

$img_titleNOTED legal luminary Dr M Rama Jois has stressed the need of probity in all fields to eradicate corruption. He said it is must to develop good character among the people to curb corruption. He was speaking at the fifth annual function of Panchwa Stambha in New Delhi on December 1. The topic of discussion on the occasion was ‘Probity in Democracy: Who is responsible how much’. Dr Rama Jois further said it is a matter of grave concern that the country is holding discussion on corruption even after 60 years of Independence. “Much has been written about rajdharma from Ramayana to Kautilya”s Arthashastra. But today we see that not a single sector is free from corruption,” he said. Shri Bhola Singh, MP from Nawada, described the Panchwa Stambha as the magazine dedicated to strengthening democracy. The function was presided over by noted writer and editor of the magazine Smt Mridula Sinha. Former Union Minister Dr Ramkripal Sinha, former MP Prof Omprakash Kohli, convener of Shiksha Bachao Andolan Samiti Shri Dinanath Batra attended the function.
