ON October 6, 2012, Aalmi Sahara reported that a complaint was made that beggars are going to Haj and not coming back. Haj Committee of West Bengal stopped a gang to go to Haj that intended to earn handsome money by begging.  More than a dozen beggars have been arrested at Kolkata airport. Last year also, around 167 people did not come back to India out of total people that had gone for Haj from West Bengal. The government claimed that there is a gang in Murshidabad district of West Bengal that sends beggars to Saudi Arabia. A racket was busted and it was proved with the arrest of some physically challenged people who were being sent to Saudi Arabia for the purpose of earning handsome money during Haj.
Muslims Getting Ready to form Political Party
Inquilab reported on October 15 that to solve the problem of Muslims a new political party is being planned. Convener of the party would be Ittihad Millat Council founder Maulana Tauquir Raja Khan. A meeting of Muslim leaders was held in Delhi in this regard. It is said that in the meeting Samajwadi Party secretary Kamal Faruqui opposed the move of forming a separate party for Muslims.  Leader of Muslim Majlish Mishrawat Dr Zafrul Islam Khan supported the move of constituting a party saying that Muslims are not getting their genuine demands met. Journalist Aziz Burney said that to solve the problems of Muslims, it is a must to have a separate platform.  All India Muslim Personal Law Board member Dr Kasim Rasul Ilyasi said that propaganda against Muslims is continuing and they are being implicated in false cases. Former ambassador M Afzal and Imam of Fatehpuri Mosque Dr Mohammad Mukarram, chairman of Imama Council Maulana Amir Ilyasi etc have supported the move of forming a new party of Muslims.
87 People Sentenced  to Capital Punishment in Tunisia
Munsif reported on October 7, 2012 that the Tunisian government decided to give capital punishment to 87 people arrested for rioting during protest against the film on Hazrat Mohammad Sahib. The government spokesperson said that people indulged in rioting are Israeli agents. The spokesperson said that foreign agents attacked the American embassy and killed the American Ambassador and four other officials. These agents have been arrested in connection with the protest. The spokesperson claimed that these foreign agents tried to instigate people against the government by vandalizing 400 mosques and wrote anti-Islamic slogans. They also set the Egyptian embassy on fire.
