THE staunch nationalist, former MP and BJP face of North East, Kiren Rijiju, has come back to the party fold after staying away for three years. He was adjusted as one of the top five parliamentarians in the 14th Lok Sabha. India Today magazine declared him as the most effective young MP during the 14th Lok Sabha. He joined back the BJP on 18th October in Guhawati in the presence of national president Shri Nitin Gadkari who was there to flag off the Shaheed Shraddhanjali Yatra to commemorate 50 years of the 1962 war. He immediately took port in the Yatra from Guwahati to Tawang. There is massive jubilation amongst the party workers in North East, particularly in Arunachal Pradesh.(FOC)
