leader was murdered in Kerala by anti-national elements. This time it is Sachin Gopalan (21). He was hacked by Campus Front activists (an Islamic terrorist group) two months ago on July 6. Sachin, an active ABVP worker who had received injures after he was hacked in front of Pallikkunnu School in Kannur district (north Kerala) succumbed to injuries on September 5. Initially, Sachin was admitted in AKG hospital and later he was shifted to KMC Hospital, Mangalore. The BJP declared a 12 hour bandh from 6 am to 6 pm in Kannur on September 6. Kerala is now facing big threat from Islamic fanaticism throughout the State, especially in campuses.
RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sah Prachar Pramukh Shri J Nanda Kumar and several other Sangh leaders expressed their condolences.
In Kannur, the Police have arrested four Campus Front/PFI activists in this connection so far. However, only two youths were remanded. Kannur District Police Chief, Rahul R Nair had appointed a 15-member special squad on August 24, led by Kannur Dy SPP Sukumaran to probe the attempt-to-murder case on Sachin Gopalal. ABVP had given a memorandum to the Home Minister Thiruvanchur Radhakrishnan directly alleging the police probe against the Campus Front and PFI activists, who were allegedly behind the attack, was not satisfactory.
In his tribute the  ABVP national organising secretary president Dr Sunil Ambekar said he could not find proper words to salute Sachin Gopalal on his sad demise and his fight against violent anti-social extreme Islamic forces. Though he was attacked during the peaceful ABVP membership drive on July 6, he continued to struggle for life till September 5. In the meantime we have to face the one more attack from CFI, which led to the death of Vishal and severe injuries to Shreejit and others. In very young age, Sachin was working hard for the national cause and has proved his commitment for Bharatmata. His sacrifice encourages the whole society to fight against such evil forces.
Commenting the killing of Sachin, Vishwa Hindu Parishad demanded immediate ban on Popular Front of India and other jehadi organisations. “It has become rampant in Kerala these days that jehadi mobs associated with SIMI, Popular Front or other jehadi organisations butcher the Hindus in broad day light. Popular Front takes out armed marches in Kerala and the Government watches it mutely. Youth like Sachin are the bright future of Bharat. Instead of giving them good opportunities to come up in life, the governments have not been able to even protect their lives. Such targeted killings of Hindus who do great service to the society are the vicious plans of the jehadis to terrorise Bharat’s youth. But they will never succeed in it. One Sachin Gopalan is gone but there are millions of Sachin Gopalans. Hindus will democratically and legally fight the injustice,” he said in a statement.
