“All evidences support a temple in Ayodhya” (Organiser, 22.4.2012); While speaking about the documentary, ‘Ram Mandir: Adalat aur Aastha’ in Organiser Smt Angha Ghaisas producer of the documentary says – “We are a nation which provides legal support to even terrorists like Ajmal Kasab to ensure transparency in our legal system; we contacted more than 50 Muslims, leaders of the country but none of them gave bite on this issue.” The day the peaceful tenor of Mumbaikars turned upside down with smoke and terror, death and disaster, fire and smell of gunshots, dead bodies strewn all over, panicky people running helter and skelter, camera shot of Ajmal Kasab with gun in hand, seen on TV, newspapers, narrated by witnesses who escaped from the jaws of death—that fateful day the trust in our government was lost for ever. Are these not sufficient evidences to hang the terrorist Kasab instead of keeping him meteing out royal treatment? How can one say that we are a nation who ensure transparency? How can even one think of giving him legal support? The wheels of justice should move fast when a death sentence is given specially in a case related to terrorism. Don’t ever forget the sword of a Muslim will cut swathes through the Hindu community. Procrastination will alienate the majority community in Bharat. Why contact more than 50 Muslim leaders? How does their opinion matter? Why this appeasement? Bharat is Sri Ram’s Janmabhoomi and we are Bharatiyas. Every Hindu has a right to demand a temple for Sri Ram in Ayodhya. Why are we a pusillaminous nation? Why don’t we have the courage to decide, with pride and heads held high to declare that we are going to build the temple in Ayodhya? Aren’t we proud of our roots and heritage? Radical Islam has already taken roots. May not be wide spread now but if allowed to grow it will dig deep into the very vitals of our Janmabhoomi. Fanaticism in any form will lead to social and ethnic conflict. Pick up courage to carry out the dreams of every Hindu. Let Sri Ram temple rise in all its glory for this is our country and we need no certificate of permission from the Muslims.

Mamata promises monthly stipend for imams in Bengal (Organiser, 15.4.2012); This refers to the news item ‘Mamata promises monthly stipend for imams in Bengal’ by Krishanu Mitra in Organiser. All political parties, who depend on Muslim vote-bank for their existence and success in elections, indulge in various type of communal, illegitimate offers to the Muslims. What is the justification in offering Rs 2,500/- to each of the 30,000 imams? This must be challenged in the court, and Mamata be punished for doing such illegal communal acts. In Uttar Pradesh also, Akhilesh Yadav the Chief Minister and son of Mulayam Singh is indulging in similar type of illegal acts. He has taken a decision to give Rs 30,000/- to all Muslim girls, who pass class X, for their education and marriage. This type of communal offer, must be challenged in the court and leaders involved in such acts should be fined and punished by the court. The worst thing is, that these Muslims now living in India are treated as privileged citizens and are ruling India with the help of anti national elements like Mamata Banerjee and Akhilesh Yadav. Infact they have no right even to live in India, after creating their separate homeland in 1947, called Pakistan (including Bangladesh).

UPA corruption, ineptitude unleash an unprecedented disarray in Defence (Organiser, 8.4.2012); This is with reference to the front page story of your esteemed weekly Organiser, ‘UPA corruption, ineptitude unleash an unprecedented disarray in Defence’ by OP Gupta. At the outset I want to congratulate and appreciate your boldness and patriotism in bringing to the light  wilful treason of UPA.  Actually it is the primary duty of the ruling party to know  the requirements of Defence  forces and make them available in time, but here is a unworthy Prime Minister and an uncapable Defence  Minister who are not ready to receive and go through the letter sent by the Chief of the Army staff Gen VK Singh but trying to blame the media or so to cover-up their derailment. We all know that China and Pakistan are well prepared for full fledged war against us. Where as our rulers are busy wooing them with bilateral trade agreement, cultural agreements and all that. Our defence system is in junk. There is no infra-structure at the border area i.e. connecting roads,  air-strips, trenches, bridges and all that. What Manmohan Singh and Sonia  Gandhi are doing is just promoting Muslim quota and Christian quota, promoting Islamisation  and Christianisation of India. What a shame on UPA, its leaders, its cadres and to its every voter. I hail Gen. VK Singh’s  patriotism and sense of duty and condemn its total absence in UPA leaders. Least now let our Prime Minster and Defence Minister and other  concerned ministers feel some shame and come to senses and give top priority to army requirements. In 1962 on account of lack of war preparedness and lack of minimum infrastructure we lost war with China.  And after 50 long years our war-preparedness is still the same. Shame to UPA.

Madhavacharya: Proponent of Vedic culture (Organiser, 29.4.2012); This is with reference to Shri Anoop Verma's article ‘Madhavacharya: Proponent of Vedic culture’ in the Kid's Org. page of Organiser. Shri Anoop Verma has confused the readers of Organiser for he could not distingiush between Madhvacharya and Madhavacharya. After Adi Shankaracharya's philosophy of Advait, Shudhadvait, Vishistadvait and Dvait philosophies were propounded by other Acharyas of Vedic philosophy but they were based on the critical analysis of Advait of Shankaracharya. Acharya Ramanuj, Acharya Nimbark and Acharya Madhu are some of the names who explained their own views on Advait, but they could not surpass the very proposition of Advait. Acharya Madhu is also called Madhvacharya as Acharya Shankar is called as Shankaracharya. Madhu plus Acharya is equal to Madhvacharya. But he is nowhere called Madhavacharya. Madhavacharya was the founder of the Vijaynagar Empire. He was called Swami Vidyaranya after becoming a sannyasin. He was elder brother of Acharya Saayan. Madhavacharya later adorned the seat of Shankaracharya of Shringery Mutt by the name Vidyaranya Swami. So there is vast difference between Madhvacharya and Madhavacharya. But in spite of their varying views on Advait, all of them are equally venerable and hold high place in our religion and culture. Here it is also to be made clear that the year of the passing away of Acharya Madhu as given requires further verification, because Madhavacharya was also alive in 1317 AP.

Mayawati spends 86 crore on home renovation In a country where people don’t even have enough to eat, BSP supremo Mayawati who calls herself dalit ki bati spends more than Rs. 86 crore of public money to renovate her sprawling 13 Mall Avenue Bunglow – a home she became entitled to in 1995 as former CM. The renovation work began after Mayawati took over as CM in 2007 but the bulk of the work was completed towards the end of her tenure. If our leaders will spend the public money so lavishly how can we expect the country to progress.

Hunger and Malnutrition Report We all should feel ashamed of the ‘Hunger and Malnutrition Report’. The findings of the report are not only a national shame but also a blot on the country’s Independence. Even after 65 years of Independence, 45 per cent of our children are malnourished. This is so because there is no authority to keep a tab on the usage of funds meant to tackle these issues. In every elections votes get carried away by caste and religion. Instead, they should demand a report on the development issues, only then these types of problems can be tackled. Children are the future of a nation and the UPA government which is already under pressure for drafting a weak ‘Food Security Bill’, needs to be more generous with the poor if the nation has to develop. It is a shame to the UPA government that on one hand it boast that the country is fast developing and we will register eight to nine per cent growth rate, on the other hand poor children don’t even get two square meals a day.

Scam after scam Not a single day passes without a fresh charge of corruption against a minister of the Congress-led UPA government. And each time the government’s strategy to fight the crisis is the same: Deny, defend, divert and deceive. Or to put the blame on the earlier NDA regime. In fact it seems to have become a familiar practice, in fact almost a compulsive habit of the Congress led UPA to blame the earlier NDA regime whenever the things go wrong for the incumbent government. UPA uses NDA as the last straw to save themselves from drowning, whenever cornered or caught red-handed.

The Mullaperiyar Dam and inter-State conflict (Organiser, 15.1.2012); This refers to Tamil Nadu having raised an objection against Karnataka for building Check-dam across Pennaiyar river. We wish to ask Tamil Nadu that how come it can avail whole of the water of any river being an riparain state? It must be made crystal clear that any agreement made during pre-Independence period should be considered as invalid. Tamil Nadu wants to avail a lion's share in Cauvery river water, it wishes to put an undue claim on Mullaperiyar Dam and its water, it wants to avail all the power produced in the up coming Kondakulam Nuclear Power Plant in Tamil Nadu. This is too much, enough is enough. This attitude of Tamil Nadu will no longer be tolerated further. It ought to learn to behave like an true countrymen, reasonable in sharing things.Such a selfish attitude may leave an big impact on integrity of the country in the coming days.

Bihar moves ahead Bihar was  a lost  case at the time Nitish Kumar  took over as the Chief Minister. Since then, it has shown tremendous improvement in law and order as well as on the economic front. This is thanks to Nitish’s innovative and all-inclusive policies. No wonder the  State has started capturing the national imagination. But Bihar’s  pace of development and growth must be maintained. While the Nitish  government  has taken initiatives to mobilise resources  from within the State, the Centre should be fair in extending support to Bihar. The State’s model of constructive  politics,  quality governance and inclusive development  needs to be emulated by other states.

Haj subsidy The Supreme Court’s directive to the Union Government to end the Haj subsidy is a welcome step . Infact persistent calls were being given by various sections of the society regarding   stopping of Haj  subsidy, but the UPA government which just wants to please the Muslims for vote politics was not taking any action on this.  Now since the Supreme Court has issued its verdict, the Congress-led UPA regime will have to take some step to scrap the subsidy. Indeed the huge financial cost of the Haj subsidy is one of the key reasons behind the Apex Courts’s decision. In 2011 alone the government subsidised the pilgrimage for 1.7 lakh Muslims. That cost the Indian exchequer a whopping Rs 685 crore. However what is most absurd, is the fact that a secular country should have such a religion  based subsidy in the first place. A secular republic cannot, must not and should not fund the rites and rituals of any faith.
