Sonia Gandhi’s sisters got Rs 18,000 crore in 2G Scam After Home Minister P Chidambaram, Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy”s next target is UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi. To a CIOL query, Swamy said: Unki (referring to Gandhi) baari bhi aayegi (her turn too will come). Further, he said, “ first, I want to make Chidambaram, a co-accused in the 2G Scam case.” Swamy in his letter to the Prime Minister has sought a probe into the alleged involvement of Gandhi”s two sisters, Nadia and Anushka, in the controversial 2G Spectrum allocation. His allegation, however, was not supported by any evidence. Swamy claims that they have received kickbacks to the tune of Rs. 18,000 crore. The frequent travel of Sonia Gandhi and her immediate family to Dubai, Malaysia and Hong Kong as well as parts of Europe, including London, requires to be probed under the law, stated Swamy. He also said that these trips were undertaken in charter planes provided by the companies, which are accused in the case. The CBI’s special trial court may have refused to accept his plea to make home minister P Chidambaram a co-accused in the 2G swindle, but Swamy is no mood to give up.

Let not the dynasty continue It is laughable and ridiculous to hear Sonia Gandhi saying that there were too many leaders in her party, hence the setback. She should have remembered the proverb—“Too many cooks spoil the broth.” The Prince of Wales surrounded by his courtiers thinking that the charisma of Nehru-Gandhi dynasty will work magic, visited the rural areas not understanding the mood of the people, not realising that the political system had grown dysfunctional and corrupt and above all that the voters had broken out of their passivity. The heir-apparent along with the matriarch were under the impression that the voters were suffering from dementia and would cast their votes blindly. The present Congress government is itself the source of all the problems and the people are fed up, too long a period of seven and a half years and voted against and the Congress themselves have to blame for the hara-kiri!. Scam after scam swamped the country, corruption seeped deep into the very vitals of our society and to top it all our internationally reputed economist advised the aam aadmi to sustain himself on thirty two rupees a day, while the rich turned crorepatis, wallowing in luxury and working in air-conditioned surroundings, a bunch of parasites, that’s what they are not caring a damn about the rest of the people. Speeches don’t fill up hungry stomachs nor do hurtling through villages rolling up his sleeves, our so-called future PM pledging and promising a better life, more welfare and land rights etc, etc. Did he ever pause to look at their faces, weather beaten, hungry looks devoid of all hopes? The results are out and the matriarch talks to the press with a smile on her face nonchalantly making inane statements—“Too many leaders—”. Did you Bharatvasis ever believe that a foreigner will deliver the goods and fulfill our expectations? May her tribe not increase. Let not dynasty system continue. We want a genuine home grown Bharatiya not a foreigner, who is sincere, honest and concerned to come to power to lead us to prosperity.

UPA’s crisis: Countdown for Congress begins? (Organiser, 25. 3.2012); The result of UP Assembly polls must have opened the eyes of the Congress. Rahul Gandhi must realise that just by spending time in a dalit’s house will not solve the problems of the dalits which they are facing. What they want is development and not false promises and emotional blackmail. Further a series of mistakes appears to have cost the Congress dear in UP despite Rahul Gandhi’s massive effort to lead the electoral battle from the front. Union Minister Salman Khurshid’s statement on the Muslim sub-quota issue appears to have not gone down well with the people of the State, particularly after the Election Commission wrote to the President about the model code violation by him. Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh, by raking up of the Batla House encounter issue, added fuel to the fire. Another UPA minister spoke of President’s rule even when campaigning was on. Rahul Gandhi thought that he is some sort of an evangelist who will bring peace and prosperity to the downtrodden masses of the State. Infact it is amazing that in the face of these irrefutable facts (i.e. defeat in UP, Punjab and Goa) the Congress continues to find cheer in the results and refuses to acknowledge the stark message that people have lost faith in the Congress and they want to replace it at the earliest. Merely deploying Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi or talking about Indira Gandhi or Gandhiji won’t serve the purpose. People want results and not just sweet emotional talks.

Perennial Paradox (Organiser, 26.2.2012); This refers to ‘Perennial Paradox’ by Dr Pravin Togadia in Organiser. He has given glimpses of the cruelties and destructions inflicted by Muslims since long. He has quoted ex-PMs of Israel, who said “No Arab. No terror”. Infact it would be more correct to say “No Muslims. No terror”. Dr Togadia wants, that India should follow Israel in dealing with Muslims, but the real difference is, that Israel is a Jews nation, whereas India is not a Hindu nation, neither constitutionally nor in practice. For the present we must forget the concept Akhand Bharat and stop ‘breast beating’ about creation of Pakistan, as is often done by Hindu leaders. Our first priority should be to constitute a Hindu India, just as Pakistan is a Muslim country. The term Hindu is so wide that it includes all types of faiths and branches of faiths which originated in India, and is quite liberal in its approach, but certainly does not include Islam. How to make India a Hindus nation is the biggest challenge, as the majority of Hindus give more importance to caste, region and local issues. And many more are not interested in anything except their personal problems and personal life. In fact all other problems facing India put together are much smaller than the Muslim problem, who have no claim over India, after creation of Pakistan as their exclusive homeland in 1947, and have expelled the entire Hindu population in most cruel manner, unknown in the world history. They are multiplying very fast, thus diluting the percentage of Hindus and would pose bigger problems with the passage of time.

SP reels under poll promise strain (Organiser, 8.4.2012); Akhilesh Yadav the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has bowed to the compulsion of muscle-politics on taking oath as the CM of Uttar Pradesh by inducting independent MLA ‘Raja Bhaiyya’in his Cabinet even though his own party had a comfortable majority in the State Assembly. Is it fair that the young Chief Minister should sideline the judicial process by deciding favourably about crimes allegedly committed by persons of his liking? This act of the State’s new CM to induct persons with tainted image in his Cabinet may result in an early steep fall in the popularity of the CM.

Sonia: So secretive still in public life! (Organiser, 4.3.2012); This is with reference to the front page new item in Organiser, ‘Sonia: So secretive still in public life!.’ Sonia is Sonia Miano, an Italian Catholic Christian deliberately planted in Nehru dynasty to ruin India and Hinduism in a secretive way. In other words a new form of imperialism. She is hiding her originality because she is afraid that the citizens of Bharat may revolt against her. Infact it has been rightly said in the article that Sonia is hiding every thing . First it was her religion, then her relatives and then her illness and now her income tax returns. In fact not only she, but all her immediate relatives enjoy amnestry from law. Is Sonia above the Indian law? Regarding her mission I would like to say that she is a national calamity who is ruining India very systematically both internally as well as externally. I congratulate Organiser for writing the misdeeds of Sonia Gandhi so boldly.

The budget for negative growth (Organiser, 1.4.2012); The poor will remain poor and needy while the rich will reap more. This is what UPA’s budget is. As a loyal soldier of the party the Finance Minister has kept the lame duck UPA government going and thus has done a commendable job for the UPA. It is a clear comment on the UPA government’s economic policies being tilted in favour of the affluent sections of the society. Though a laboured effort has been made to create a superficial impression of being pro-poor, the budget is actually pro-rich in substance. The restricts on expenditure on central subsidies will lead to an aggravation in the economic hardships for the large number of less-pivileged masses. Further the budget 2012-13 does not propose any concrete steps to tackle the worsening agrarian crisis and check farmer suicides. I would like to say that a government (UPA) which cannot provide basic facilities to its people has no right to exist, it does not matter whether India is a front-runner in economic growth on not.

Nitish Kumar gives Bihar a new face Nitish Kumar has improved the State machinery of Bihar to such an extent that people have almost forgotten Lalu’s reign of misgovernance. Kumar’s governance model has given the people of Bihar confidence to lead a safe and respectable life. His predecessor, Lalu Prasad did a lot of damage to the State. His regressive policies failed miserably. On the other hand Nitish Kumar government has done a commendable job. Improving law and order has not only raised hopes in the younger generation but restored their belief in the system as well. There is a sense of relief in people who once had to migrate outside the State for better education and livelihood opportunities. Still a lot remains to be done to spread awareness amongst the people and mobilise them to work towards their own betterment.

No surprise Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati’s defeat comes as no surprise because since the last five years she has broken all moral codes of conduct and ruled UP with arrogance and vengeance. Instead of looking after the problems of people of UP, which includes electricity, education and medical facilities etc, she spent the tax payers money on building statutes and amassing illegal wealth. Instead of developing UP in the last five years she has infact ruined it completely. Further her rude behaviour with the people of UP added fuel to fire.

Kerala temples caste out prejudice I was very happy to learn that Kerala temples are chanting a new mantra of inclusiveness, thanks to a silent revolution inside the sanctum sanctorum of hundreds of temples in the State. This move would break the last bastion of casteism and people form other castes would also be able to perform pujas. In the last two months, the Travancore Devaswom Board filled up 50 out of the 100 posts for pujaris (Priests) with non-Brahmins who will soon start performing rituals in shrines assigned to them among the 2,000 temples under TDB. This is a very right move on part of Kerala temples because even our ancient scriptures say that a person becomes a Brahmin through his deeds and lifestyle than by birth.
