UPA-2 ignoring Election Commission UPA leaders have been consistently violating the Election Commission’s (EC) code of conduct. Be it Salman Khurshid or Beni Prasad Verma offering quotas to Muslims or Rahul Gandhi holding road shows. Senior members of the UPA-2 have been taking the Election Commission for granted and making a mockery of the electoral process. Further the talk in Congress about curtailing the powers of the Election Commission seems a case of history repeating itself. When the former Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi was unseated by the verdict of the Allahabad High Court on June 12, 1975, the Constitution was amended to make it almost impossible for anyone to challenge the Prime Minister. Now since Congress is breaking all the norms during the recent elections, it wants to restrict the powers of the Election Commission.

Return of Jinnahism (Organiser, 5.2.2012); This refers to the article in Organiser, titled, ‘Return of Jinnahism’ by Shri Ram Madhav. In my opinion the Communal Violence Bill, against which he has written, is not return of ‘Jinnahism’ but ‘Curse of Gandhism’. Jinnah was quite reasonable and an intelligent person. He stated a number of times before creation of Pakistan, that after getting Pakistan as homeland for Muslims, Hindustan (i.e. truncated India, which we have now), would be the homeland for the Hindus (in his terminology except Muslims and Christians all were Hindus), and there should be complete exchange of population. What was wrong in this argument? In fact this was in the interest of the Hindus but due to wrong concept of Hindu leaders, they were driven more by emotions, rather than by brain. Dr BR Ambedkar was the only leader, who understood the reality, and advised the Hindus to accept Pakistan with complete exchange of population. But he was disliked by Congress leaders and blamed as supporter of Pakistan. Much earlier Lala Lajpat Rai, a great freedom fighter, wrote in his letter to CR Dass, that Hindu Muslim unity is “neither possible nor practicable”, and founded Hindu Mahasabha along with Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya and Swami Shraddhanand to safeguard Hindu interests, which were being crushed by Gandhi and Congress, to appease the Muslims. Jinnah was very faithful to his community, and always tried to hide their cruelty done against the Hindus. Gandhi was always helpful to Jinnah, and used to give sermons on “Ähimsa” whenever the Hindus were killed by the Muslims, as if Hindus were the attackers and Muslims the sufferers. Gandhi’s latest misdeed of going in for “Fast unto death” in January 1948, was to tell to the whole world, that Hindus in India had made the life of Muslims miserable and also for showing that India was doing injustice to Pakistan by withholding Rs 55 crore, although it had attached Jammu and Kashmir. On the other hand, Gandhi never spoke even a single word against Muslims when there was mass slaughter of Hindus and Sikhs in 1946-47. Thus we can see that “Communal Violence Bill” is curse of Gandhism and not return of Jinnahism.

This is with reference to the front page article under Agenda, ‘Communal Violence Bill. Return of Jinnahism’ P-14 by Shri Ram Madhav in Organiser, 5.2.2012. The article is self-explanatory and blood-boiling for any educted human being. In the name of Communal Violence Bill intentionally Sonia Maino is usurping every Hindu and anyone who stands in the way of whims and fancies of communal and extra territorial loyalist Muslims and Christians. Whether this Bill will help anybody or not but this will definitely gift a bloodbath for one and all. The days are gone when Hindus were divided and weak. Now Hindus from all walks of life have become aware of communal character of Sonia and her desire to ruin India and Hindus. Even saints have came out openly against this Bill and have directly threatened Government of dire consequences if this Bill is placed in the Parliament. Usurping Hindus seems to be main policy of NAC. Infact NAC is not National Advisory Council but National Auctioning Council. Wherein judiciary, administration and all human values are simply usurped. Jinnah threatened for ‘Direct Action’ in case Pakistan was not given and he got Pakistan. Now the day has come for all the son’s of this soil to give a clarion call of ‘Direct Action’ against inventors and supporters of this Bill in case we want to like alive in this world. Nowhere in the world even in Islamic or Christian theocracies such blatant violation of Human Rights is made which Maino wants the world to witness in India. Shame on all UPA leaders, cadres and voters.

Husain, Rushdie, equally wrong Apropos of Shri Abhay’s letter appeared prominently in the ‘Readers Forum’(Organiser, 5.2.2012). Your esteemed weekly is read in my circle of friends very keenly. We all have one aim i.e. to remove misunderstanding about Islam and the Muslim community. You have been kind enough to publish our letters but some readers appear so adamant that they seemed to be uninterested to ponder over our point of view, Shri Abhay is one of them. Everyone has the right to express himself, but Shri Abhay frequently writes irrelevant and meaningless material. He has in the present one given background information covering a century. He has even given a veiled threat to lady Tanvir Fatima who is a senior citizen, but writes frankly and continuously. Now she has declined to write any more and says that the Censure Board should look after these matters. He has referred late Khaja Hasan Nizami, who was the custodian of the shrine of Hazrat Nizamuddin, the famous Sufi saint of Delhi. He was never associated with the Tableeghi Jamaat, but Shri Abhay has mentioned him as the notorious Tableeghi. He has also wrongly mentioned about the Khilafat movement. This is not the manner to respond to the social issues which often turn sensitive. Now against the so-called ‘Love Jihad’a counter ‘Dharam Yudh’is also currently in the news here. A writer has stirred the ‘Rushdie Episode’which highlights the double standards, the Hinduvites follow in the affairs related to the right of the freedom of expression. If MF Husain misused it so did Salman Rushdie. We condemned both of them but your writers have their own ways of dealing with the sensitiveness of others. This is not justified at all.

Poll distortions: Money power unleashed to win (Organiser, 12.2.2012); In the article ‘Poll distortions: Money Power unleashed to win’, by GVL Narasimha Rao, the elite writer rightly says that the inducement of money for votes must end, for our political process to gain sanctity. Democracy, the rule of the people,by the people, for the people, still eludes the masses, except few scrupulous politicians, even after six decades, whereas people under western democracy have got it much earlier, by discarding penny wise pound foolish norm. Fair voting is the safety valve for the exit of peoples pent-up anger against misrule, real or otherwise. Its negation under dictatorship, becomes seed of recurring violent revolutions. Can one kill an evil, by killing its shadow?

Mullaperiyar Dam should be under Kerala This refers to news item that the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has objected to monitoring of Mullaperiyar Dam by Kerala.Tamil Nadu claiming ownership over Mullaperiyar Dam is utter unfairness. Immediately after Independence the situation was very much vague for Kerala to takeover the dam, since Tamil Nadu was controlling the operations of the dam during pre-Independence period. But after the reorganisation of the states in 1956,when the Mullaperiyar area became part of Kerala, they have all the rights to takeover the control of the operations of the dam.Tamil Nadu needs to respect the Constitution and Republic of India. Moreover, when Kerala is located at the downstream of the Mullaperiyar Dam and prone for any type of mishaps arising out of the dam breakdown, they are at the best to monitor and control the Dam.

Don’t ignore genuine complaints It seems that some of our esteemed politicians are suffering from verbal diarrhoea. Just to save their seat in the society they are not ready to hear even genuine complaints. Immediately after the media reported the Park Street rape case which took place in Kolkata on February 5, some important politicians including the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made utterly irrelevant and insensitive remarks. The Sports Minister of Kolkata Madan Mitra, even went to the extent of questioning the morality of the victim. He alleged that the complaint was fabricated to extort money. The CM Mamata Banerjee said it was nothing more than a conspiracy against her government . Now that the police have solved the case and caught the culprits she has no choice but to remain silent. Mamata Banerjee must realise that she should make a statement only after she is completely sure about the truth. It is shame that in a country where the President is a woman and State’s Chief Minister too a woman, the lady was subjected to so much humiliation.

Wake-up Hindus Why Hindus are in the receiving end of oppression is because Hindus are barking dogs which never bites or to be more specific they are feminine species who have been taught to be non-violent even if they are smashed and destroyed. Hindus have been taught to adopt fasting vidya to fulfil their legitimate demands and right. To activate dormant feelings of self-respect of Hindus each and every true Hindu should intensively teach its own family as well as other families to be dynamic and united to safeguard the rights of Hindus and understand how the Hindus are exploited by preaching a fallacious doctrine of pseudo-secularism and fasting. They should abandon the habit of barking dogs and become pouncing lion to protect Hindu nation, their culture, tradition and religions. Protestations and agitations should be diligently manoeuvred so that no harm is afflicted on fellow Indians and national properties. Do not vote to a person or party who demean Hindus.

Sonia Maino Family It is high time that we should stop calling the present ruling family of Bharat as the ‘Gandhi-Nehru Family’. It is truly the ‘Sonia Maino Family’ that is ruling India. Bharatvasis must realise that after the British left we are now under the rule of an Italian family or rather Italians—election or no election.

Muslim vote-bank a pacemaker for UPA “We belong to a Hindu nation”—Mohan Bhagwatji has been stressing this point over and over again. The first task is to unite and make our dream of building Sri Ram Temple at Ayodhya come true. It must materialise, for the secular government of ours has deliberately ignored people’s pleas by pursuing a pseudo-secular policy by not understanding the meaning of the word “Secular”. “Chamber’s dictionary” says “Secular—the belief that the state morals education should be independent of religion.” This clearly shows that secular does not in any sense mean that there should be no religion. Discrimination is practiced while dealing with Hindusim not realising that this ancient religion or dharma is a way of life encompassing a code of conduct, ethical behaviour and tolerance towards one and all. The principles of freedom, equality and justice applies to everyone irrespective of caste, creed and religion in our country Bharat. What is the Congress party doing? Playing the Muslim quota card. A secular state coming to power with Muslim vote-bank. Is this secularism?

Chidambaram responsible for Ramlila Ground tragedy I totally agree with the views of Ram Jethmalani who has held Home Minister P Chidambaram responsible for the crackdown at the Ramlila Ground tragedy on June 4-5 last year and has demanded his resignation. He has rightly said that, “The Delhi Police is less guilty. The real guilty are the political masters. Chidambaram is the father of blackmoney in this country, the enemy of the Constitution and free speech and thus should resign. He is the one responsible for the tragedy.” But do you think that Chidambaram will resign. I doubt.

2G Spectrum Scam A few of the Congress leaders have said that the BJP has used the Supreme Court’s verdict on 2 G Spectrum Scam for its political mileage, but the UPA government has used the 2 G Spectrum allocation for its financial mileage since 2008, or possibly even before that and robbed crores of rupees from the honest taxpayer’s pocket. People have not yet forgotten the Bofors Scam engineered by the Congress. Does Congress-led UPA have any answer for that.

Wake-up before it is too late It is a warning sign to India that the standard of school education in India is fast declining. The situation is not very different at the tertiary levels. Our colleges and universities in both the public and private sectors suffer from similar problems that mar primary and secondary education. Even though everyone recognises the important role of education, UPA government is not paying any attention towards it. Our best educational institutes don’t stand a chance against universities in the West or even those in many Southeast Asian countries. I hope the government will wake-up before it is too late.
