Cash for vote scam

Cash for vote scam

By R Guru Prasad

Congress Government’s cash for vote scam is the biggest scam in the whole world because it destroys the democracy, said veteran BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani. He was speaking  at the  Jan Chetna Yatra rally in  Bengaluru on October 30. The rally was organised at National College Grounds. This  was the  first day of his 3 day yatra in Karnataka and 30000 strong crowd including general public,  BJP workers, office bearers, MLAs, MPs,  waited  to listen to him irrespective of heavy rains.

Shri Advani  became   emotional  to see thousands of people who were holding plastic chairs on their heads to protect themselves from the rain  and said he prays God that nobody should fall sick. He pointed out that present UPA Government is the most corrupt government in the history of Indian democracy and  the scams of UPA Government have adverse effect on the development of the country.  The visibly upset Shri Advani  said, “India  had a vibrant, vigorous democracy, which no other developing country had but the Congress is not only destroying the democracy but  also emerging as the shameless party by showing the world that it can buy votes by cash.”
