Tribute to Gyan Prakash Chopra
Noted educationist and chairman of DAV Management Committee Gyan Prakash Chopra passed away in New Delhi on September 22. He was 92. He was also president of Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha. His contribution in promoting education among physically and mentally challenged children will be remembered. He was honoured with Padmashri and Padma Vibhushan for his outstanding contribution in the field of education.
In his tribute RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi described the demise of Gyan Prakash Chopra as a major loss for the nation. “Chopraji was a great educationist and social worker. His contribution in the field of social service and education is an inspiration for the entire nation,” he said. (FOC)
