Congress conspiracy against Hindus Countrywide RSS protests evoke massive response "A conspiracy hatched to malign the RSS"

LUCKNOW: December 10: It was a scene to be seen to be believed. A mammoth dharna of several thousand people was organised at Bal Vihar Lawn just opposite the Charbagh Junction of Northern Railways. The venue of the dharna was adorned with saffron flags all around. The picketeers included advocates, retired administrators, former military personnel of high ranks, ex-Mayor and the present Mayor of Municipal Corporation, MPs and MLAs, MLCs, Professors, doctors and office bearers of many social and cultural organisations and the cream of the metropolitan city of Uttar Pradesh. A jampacked pandal echoed with thunderous slogans of Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata ki Jai and counch blowings intermittently.

Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat arrived on the dias at about 11.30 am. He told the gathering that since long a conspiracy was being hatched against Hindu saints, organisations and the saffron colour indicating RSS. The anti-national forces started a new virulent vilification campaign a few years back by arresting Kanchi Shankaracharya and gruesome assassination of Swami Lakshmananad in Odisha just a day before Diwali festival and on the very day of Janmashtami respectively. Several totally baseless allegations were made and propagated by media against the Shankaracharya. The court exonerated him with honour but those who had deliberately propagated, kept mum after the court verdict. What sort of journalism is this?

It is everytime observed that whenever the throne of Delhi feels shaking, it wilfully starts a venomous campaign against RSS. May it be after the vivisection of this sacred land of ours and Gandhiji’s assassination was made handly for. But Sangh came brighter from that ordeal. Again it was during Emergency, and we had to accept that challenge, and came out victoriously. All the propaganda against us proved false. Even after Ayodhya episode, Sangh was banned but to no avail.

This time again a well planned conspiracy has been hatched against us calling first ‘Hindu Terrorism’ and then ‘Saffron Terrorism.’ But let them know that they will again fail in their attempts to malign RSS by involving our senior worker Shri Indresh Ji. The Sangh believes in and practises non-violence. There is no place for violence in our organisation whose constitution specifically tells that one who believes in violence, has no place in Sangh.

Though our work culture does not believe in such dharna like activities, this time we have been forced to take such step on all India level. Sarsanghachalak cannot participate in such activities, so the Karyakari Mandal decided that its Sarsanghachalak should address the people who sit in dharna. As I was here in Lucknow according to schedule fixed before, I am here to address you in order to make aware you of and tell the forces that be that it is enough now, desist from such conspiring activities otherwise they will have to repent again as they had to repent in the past.

Shri Narendra Bhaduriya, the editor of Hindi Daily Rashtriya Swaroop conducted the proceedings in a very lucid manner. dharna was declared over at about 1.30 pm.
