“ALL-round development of women is necessary to make Bharat a powerful nation. There is a need to impart good samskars among the girls right from their childhood. Durga Vahinia has been doing it for many years,” said Sushri Mala Raval, national convener of Durga Vahini. She was addressing the concluding ceremony of a training camp in Delhi on June 13. She said people normally spend huge amount on imparting training of personality development and self-defence to girls. But the training which is imparted in week-long camp of the Durga Vahini is imparted nowhere. We believe if a girl is inculcated good samskars it benefits two families, she said pointing out that this type of training camps have been organised at 40 places in the country. The girls between the age group of 15 to 35 years were imparted Durga Vahini training, while the women above the age of 35 years were imparted Matrishakti training. Many scholars, saints and experts imparted training to the girls and women on various issues like women empowerment, ideal Hindu family, cow protection, eradication of social evils, swadeshi, personality development, etc. Kumari Anjali was the convener of the camp. The concluding ceremony was presided over by noted social activist Shri Harvanshlal Soni.
