“GOOD samskars and goodness become irrelevant without strength. We have to gain strength also with the propagation of goodness. The increase in the strength of sevikas will make the nation stronger. Since we have to establish our identity in the world as Indian, it is essential to make Bharat strong from all aspects. Only then the world will follow Bharat,” said director of Bharatiya Pragya Parishad Smt Indumati Katdare. She was addressing the concluding ceremony of Rashtra Sevika Samiti training camp in Jaipur.
The training camp began on May 17 and concluded on May 24. A total of 118 sevikas from 20 places of Rajasthan participated in the camp. There are about 125 shakhas of the Samiti in Rajasthan. The number of the shakhas across the country is more than 3,000. Sushri Madhuri Marathe, Sharirik Pramukh of the Samiti imparted training to the Sevikas. Smt Savita Sharma was the Sarvadhikari of the training camp.
Smt Katdare advised the sevikas who underwent training at the camp, to follow what they learnt at the camp in their practical life. “The future of the nation depends upon the young generation and the young generation must be strong, healthy, educated and should have strong will and firm determination,” she said. Referring to various problems like environmental degradation, loss of samskars, poverty, tension, etc. she said only Bharat can help the world to get rid of all these problems.
Chief guest Dr Ranjana Jain said, one can achieve all round progress with the type of training imparted in the camp. She described March 7, 1835 as the blackest day in the history of Bharat as Macaulay had introduced the new education system in India on that day. “This education system removed us from our cultural and spiritual roots and it must be replaced without delay,” she said stressing the need that the young generation must be imparted Hindu samsakars.
