A training camp of Poorva Andhra VHP workers was held at Sri Krishna Vidya Mandir in Visakhapatnam. The camp began on May 3 and concluded on May 18. The camp was inaugurated by RSS Vibhag Karyavah Shri G Subrahmanyam. VHP Prant secretary Shri M Hanumantha Rao delivered the inaugural speech.

Activists from 25 districts and 72 Prakhandas of Poorva Andhra underwent training at the camp. The participants included 41 women activists of Durga Vahini, 42 Bajrang Dal and 43 VHP workers. A total of 126 workers including 10 Shikshaks and 30 Prabandhaks participated in the camp. A book on panchgavya written in Telugu by Prant Gou Raksha Pramukh Shri M Chandrasekhar was also released at the camp by Prant organising secretary of the VHP Shri Kanna Bhashkar. Prant joint treasurer Shri TP Venkateswara Rao presided over the inaugural ceremony.
