Guntur Vibhag of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh organised a two-day Sankalpa Shivir at SSN College of Narasarapet under Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh from November 28 to 29. About 450 swayamsevaks from various parts of the vibhag participated in the Shivir. A photo exhibition was also organised at the Shivir.

Several senior Sangh adhikaris including Akhil Bharatiya Bauddhik Pramukh Shri Bhagaiyji, National Executive Member Shri Ram Madhav, Kshetra Karyavah Shri Dusi Ram Krishna, Member of Kshetra Karyakarini Shri Haldekar, Prant Pracharak Shri Sukumar guided the swayamsevaks in the Shivir.

The Shivir began on November 28. Shri Haldekar introduced a novel on Doctor Hedgewar. Shri Bhagaiyaji released a book, Sri Krishna Devaraya. He said the swayamsevaks should learn to face difficulties, observe punctuality and should also learn other good things while participating in various activities of the Shivir. “The life-mission of a swayamsevak is to organise the Hindu society into a powerful unit. To achieve this objective, we conduct daily shakhas, mould the swayamsevaks to start new shakhas and also organise group activities in a perfect manner,” he said.

Meetings in groups of college students, elders and others categories were also organised separately. The people of the town also witnessed Path Sanchalans, which started from two different places and joined at one place. On the second day, there was a question-answer session. Shri Ram Madhav answered the questions of the swayamsevaks. A good number of sisters and mothers of swayamsevaks also visited the Shivir and served meals in the afternoon.

Managing Director of Tirumala Dairy Shri B Brahma Naidu presided over the public meeting. He praised the physical demonstrations performed by the swayamsevaks.

Addressing the gathering Shri Ram Madhav said the Sangh is a powerhouse to produce disciplined citizens to serve Bharat Mata. He explained how the former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam quoted the work done by Nanaji Deshmukh in Chitrakut and the owner of a small tea shop in Chennai and praised their untiring services to the society. Both of them are swayamsevaks. He made it clear that the report of Liberhan Commission is full of lies and there was no plot behind the demolition the so-called Babri structure in Ayodhya. “When there are memorials in the name of Gandhiji and Pt Nehru, why Sri Ram should remain without a memorial,” he said calling upon the swayamsevaks to speed up the Sangh work.
