Around 1000 swaymsevaks between the age of 8 to 14 years from various local shakhas of the Mahanagar performed physical exercises. Over 100 IT professionals from various IT Milan'sof the city also participated in the function. A large number of Sangh sympathisers attended the function and appreciated the skills and discipline of the swayamsevaks.

Paschim Kshetra Sanghachalak Dr Ashokrao Kukade, founder trustee of Vivekananda Hospital in Latur and Paschim Maharashtra Sanghachalak Prof. Dada Sahane and Pune Mahanagar Sanghachalak Shri Mohan Ghaisas also shared the dais.

Giving numerous examples, Shri Sudarshan illustrated that western countries have started accepting the fact that major research breakthroughs in the field of science have been there in India from ancient times. Quoting some shloka'sfrom the Vedas and Upanishads he said we the Hindus should be proud of our valuable assets like the Vedas and Upanishads. ?Bharat was a rich and prosperous country. Britishers brought Macaulay'seducational system, as a well-planned strategy to rule India. Even after 60 years of Independence, parents still force their children to study in ?convent? schools. But children lose their much valuable time to understand the language, as English is very difficult and sometime confusing in terms of grammar, pronunciation and spelling. Developed countries like China, Japan, France and Russia never used English as development tool! But Government Officers in our country fear of getting distracted if English is removed from the system,? the Sarsanghachalak stressed.
