Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation organised a two-day workshop to mark the 41st death anniversary of Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya, in New Delhi. Veteran thinker and former Akhil Bharatiya Bauddhik Pramukh of RSS Shri Ranga Hari delivered the inaugural speech at the Kriti Varga (workshop) held at Deendayal Research Institute on February10. RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Suresh Soni inaugurated the Varga.

Thinkers and luminaries of Hindutva including RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Bhiayaji Joshi, former RSS Bauddhik Pramukh and first spokesperson Shri MG Vaidya, veteran journalist Shri Gopal Sachar, president of Hindusthan Samachar Shri Ramshankar Agnihotri, secretary of Samajik Samarasta Manch and editor of Vivek Shri Ramesh Patange, chief editor of Tarun Bharat (Nagpur) Shri Sudhir Pathak, BJYM national president Shri Amit Thakker, editor of Organiser Shri R Balashankar, BJP organising secretary Shri Ramlal, BJP vice president Shri Bal Apte etc. were present on the occasion. Director of the Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee Foundation Shri Tarun Vijay conducted the proceedings.

The theme of the Varga was to collect and present the literature, thoughts and speeches of Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya and Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee. Besides the literature, another effort has to be made to collect all the information regarding the public/private institutions, roads, gardens, colleges or universities named after the two great ideologues.

Shri Suresh Soni exhorted to continue the efforts and assured full help from all quarters for the task. Shri Ranga Hari gave vivid details of the task he had undertaken to collect the works of Shri Guruji and enthralled as well as inspired the audience with his inimitable style of Bauddhik laced with many examples. He said Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya was a great exponent of Integral Humanism and that is the philosophy Bharat needs today when the ideologies of communism and capitalism have utterly failed.

A power point presentation detailing the unfortunate death of Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya on February 11, 1968 was also shown, which provided rare information about the great soul. It showed the Mughalsarai railway station, the pictures of the pole no 1278, where the dead body of Panditji was found, the local people who had identified the body and other places connected with the life of Panditji.

Concluding the Varga, Shri Suresh Soni exhorted all to come forward and help in this pious work, which has started late yet, has to be finished with setting a deadline. ?Let'scomplete this work, which will be a great help for strengthening the ideology and will inspire coming generations,? he added.
