RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri KS Sudarshan inaugurated the new office of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) at Deendayal Upadhyaya Marg in New Delhi on January 21. The present BMS headquarters is functioning from Ramnaresh Bhavan in Paharganj and soon it would be shifted to the new building. Besides more than 200 eminent people belonging to various organisations of Delhi, RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Madan Das and Delhi Prant Sanghachalak Shri Ramesh Prakash Sharma were also present on the occasion.

The new office has been constructed with the cost of Rs 1.5 crore and the entire money has been contributed by the BMS workers. ?Not a single penny has been taken from any corporate house, political party, social organisation or the capitalist. The BMS workers contributed each penny from the hard earned money. This has been done in accordance with the basic principles of BMS as laid down by its founder the late Dattopant Thengadi. That is why we have named it as Dattopant Thengadi Bhavan,? informed BMS president Shri Girish Awasthi.

Speaking on the occasion Shri Sudarshan said today people think only of their rights and not of their duties. ?Making the labourers aware of their rights, Thengadiji exhorted them to follow their duties too. He presented a new concept before the labourers of the world, which through light not only about the labourers but also about the interests of the industries. He founded a nationalist labour organisation which became number one labour organisation of the country,? Shri Sudarshan added. He added that the all-round development of the nation is the basic objective of the RSS and it has produced the workers who are committed to this goal. ?Dr Hedgewar had observed that if we have to develop the nation the people should be honest and clean. The Sangh has developed the similar kind of Karyakartas,? he added. BMS general secretary Shri Lakshma Reddy proposed a vote of thanks on the occasion.
