BMS president Shri Girish Awasthi was honoured with Shramshri Samman in New Delhi on May 8. The Samman, instituted by Antim Vikalp, a Hindi monthly and Parivartan Jankalyan Samiti, an NGO, has been presented for the outstanding contributions of Shri Awasthi in the field of labour. Former Election Commissioner Dr G.V.G Krishnamurty, former vice chancellor of Gurukul Kangari University Dr Dharmpal Arya and a large number of MPs, trade union leaders were also present on the occasion.
