The protest rally against Sethusamudram project, which was scheduled to be held on May 13, has been postponed and will now be held on May 27 at Ramlila Grounds. According to Shri Champatrai, Joint Secretary General of VHP, the protest rally would be preceded by the Kendriya Margdarshak Mandal meeting of VHP from May 23 to 25 and also the meeting of Shri Ramjanmabhoomi Mandir Nirman Uchchadhikar Samiti on May 22. Along with these meetings there will be more than 150 meetings by senior saints from May 22 to 26 in Delhi. The objective of these meetings is to educate the people of Delhi of the conspiracies being hatched by the UPA government in association with some international agencies to destroy the historic Ram Sethu. He said the meeting of May 13 has been postponed due to non-availability of the venue on that day. The meeting of May 27 will be jointly organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha and Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti under the banner of newly formed Shri Ram Sethu Raksha Manch (Delhi).
