Speaking to Organiser at party headquarters in Lucknow, former UP Chief Minister Kalyan Singh said that the ongoing election is a historic opportunity for people to save and protect the state from open loot and decide what kind of government they want. ?People have to decide if they want the misrule of Mayawati and Mulayam, or a BJP rule , which would provide a clean, transparent and efficient government for speedy growth and progress of UP.? Shri Kalyan Singh squarely blamed Mulayam Singh for the unprecedented price-rise, prevailing anarchy, goondaism and open loot of public money and property. He said the mafia dons and criminals, besides a group of close friends of Mulayam, have been given a license to loot the state and its resources. The police and bureaucracy are mute spectators due to instruction from the ?top?, he informed.
