Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Narendra Modi said that while some states are fighting Maoists and Naxals who are equipping tribals with arms, the state government and Sukhi Parivar Foundation are trying to take tribals on the path of development, self-reliance and non-violence. Addressing a huge tribal crowd at Kavant, where Shri Modi laid the foundation stone of Sukhi Parivar Dham by Sukhi Parivar Foundation, he said that Gani Rajendra Vijay is working hard with the tribals and these activities will uplift their social, educational, health and cultural status. Shri Modi said that with different development packages and schemes, he wanted to double the income of each tribal family and open up avenues for trade, health, education and other basic amenities at their doorstep. Announcing a Rs. five crore model marketing yard at Kavant, Shri Modi dubbed it the future hub of trading activities in the eastern tribal belt, which would attract customers from Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. He also announced the allocation of Rs. four crore for laying of a 14-km road connecting Kavant and Bhakha and Rs. 4.5 crore for construction of a bridge of Kathiwada, the only major link between the urban areas and tribal belt of Vadodara district.
Shri Modi also launched the book Yoga Ke Vyavharik Safal Prayog written by Gani Rajendra Vijay and latest issue of Shri Vijay Inder Times magazine.
The programme was headed by Gachchadhipati Acharya Vijaya Nityanand Surishwar, Acharya Vijaya Virendra Surishwar, Acharya Vijaya Vasant Surishwar, Acharya Vijaya Lalitsen Surishwar. Over one lakh people were also present there.
On this occasion Sukhi Parivar Abhiyan founder Gani Rajendra Vijay said that at present hunger, unemployment, poverty, illiteracy, communal differences and terrorism are major problems. ?We are trying to solve these problems under the roof of Sukhi Parivar Movement. Today if we follow the truth and non-violence of Mahavir, Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi, definitely we can easily pass half journey. A nation will build on these basic principles. We hope that the Sukhi Parivar Dham will create some solid changes in the tribal lifestyle and their social status.?
According to Gani Rajendra Vijay: ?The philosophy of non-violence (ahimsa) has no meaning without the application of self-discipline. If everyone believes in self-discipline, concurrence and philosophy of co-existence, then only the glorious form of ahimsa will be revealed and the real meaning of ahimsa will be understood by us.? We realised that people involved in violence are highly organised and crimes are committed with great planning. But people who profess ahimsa and believe in it are scattered and spread out. If we are unorganised we cannot stop the violence. So it has become essential to organise the ahimsa loving people to face the violent groups and stop them.
Ex-member of Parliament of this area and state BJP vice president Shri Ram Singh Bhai Rathawa welcomed the Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Health and Law Minister Shri Ashok Bhatt, Tribal Welfare Minister Shri Mangubhai Patel, State Minister Shri Jaswant Singh and others were guests on behalf of Sukhi Parivar Movement.
In his presidential speech the president of Sukhi Parivar Foundation Shri Manish Jain said that they are going to make a seven acre campus on this spot which will spend one crore rupees on different activities, like a higher secondary school, hospital, old age home, child care home, spiritual centre and administrative room. He welcomed Shri Narendra Modi by memento.
Secretary of Sukhi Parivar Foundation and Editor of Shri Vijay Inder Times Shri Lalit Garg also welcomed Shri Narendra Modi with flowers and a shawl and presented him latest issues of publications. (FOC)
