Under the auspices of Shri Guruji Centenary Celebration Committee, a Video-CD release function was organised in Chennai on January 29, 2007 at Mata Amirtanandamayee Mutt.
The video CD, Tapasvi, was released by Mata Amirtananda-mayee and the first copy was received by Shri R.V.S. Marimu-thu, Samyukta Prant Sanghachalak. Shri S. Viswanathan, Tamil Nadu Secretary of the Centenary Celebration Committee welcomed the gathering. A poem on ?Amma? by Shri Harihara Gopalan was presented to Amma.
Amma blessed the committee members, who includes Shri Rama Gopalan, former DGP Sripal, IPS, Shri V. Sundaram, IAS and many others.
In her blessings Mata Amirtanandamayee said, ?You are all taking lot of pains to protect the culture and society. You sacrifice for the same. In essence, you are the living form of God. Hence, it is I, who should offer pranams to you.?
She adds, ?Many of us don'tknow the greatness of our Mother, of our family and their rich heritage and tradition. Even we don'tknow the great history of our society and country. The efforts to inculcate all these values to our younger generation is not adequate.
