SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav is under fire. From Varanasi to Noida, what is happening in UP? Not only people'sheart but also their emotions are burning. Residents of Nithari village in Noida support it. At any cost they want to take their revenge and therefore many times they resorted to violence to express their anger. For, this is unbelievable for them that this government would bring justice to them.

Of late, Kanya Vidyadhan is being distributed by the state government, but on the other hand in Nithari village parents have closed the doors of school for their girls. They are much terrorized. ?I don'tsend my daughter to school anymore. I lost one and I can'tafford to lose another,? said Rupa, mother of one of the missing girls.

Kidnapping of children and sexual assault on them is increasing day-by-day in UP. In Nithari village 38 children have been missing, but only 19 FIRs were registered. Parents of the kidnapped children alleged that the police did not allow them to go near the burial site or did not show them the remains and other items that could have helped them in identifying their children'sbodies. Payal was kidnapped on May 7, 2006 and now her father fears that the police will get him killed in a fake encounter. He said: ?In sheer desperation, I wrote letters to the Chief Minister, but to no avail.?

Nithari is the one example of law and order situation in UP. Public is not satisfied with Mulayam government. It was witnessed recently in BJP'sParivartan Rally in Lucknow, where, according to an estimate, about 6 lakh people participated in the rally. This was the biggest rally in the history of Lucknow'sAmbedkar Maidan. According to political analysts, it is a spontaneous reaction of public wrath. In Lucknow while people assembled to show their disenchantment against the Mulayam government, at the same time, innumerable people with the flag of cultural nationalism gathered in Gorakhpur, an important city of eastern UP. According to sources, in Gorakhpur about 3 lakh people were present in ?Hindu sammelan? on the call of Yogi Aditya Nath. Both the rallies of Lucknow and Gorakhpur are reasons enough to give sleepless nights to SP. Given the BJP'sperformance in the recent Mayoral election in the state, in which BJP won 8 seats out of 12, the path for success is not easy for Mulayam in the coming election. Some days ago he told the mediapersons that before election some persons might be indulging in riots. By this statement anybody can guess about his future strategy and his desperation.

Really UP is burning. Everyone in the state is of the opinion that this government should be thrown out of power.
