RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Madan Das has advised the Government of India to tell China in clear words that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India. He said it is unfortunate on the part of China to illegally claim over Arunachal Pradesh just a few days before the Chinese President'svisit to India. He said India has taken the correct step by opposing the move and if need arises the proposed dialogue between both the countries should also be cancelled.
Shri Madan Das was interacting with some journalists of Delhi as part of Shri Guruji birth centenary celebration. It is to be noted that Chinese Ambassador to India, in an interview to a TV channel, claimed that Arunachal Pradesh is a part of China. The CPM while adopting a very soft stand over the statement has advised the government to remain calm. Supporting the objection by Minister of Foreign Affairs Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Shri Madan Das said the government must react strongly over the issue. He said if China does not withdraw its statement regarding the claim over Arunachal Pradesh, the coming dialogue should be cancelled. (FOC)
