Karmayogi is the first documentary film directed by Shri Nitish Bhardwaj. He says it was the second most challenging tasks of his life. ?About 15 years back when I was entrusted the task of performing Shri Krishna in the Mahabharat TV serial, I was in a dilemma for several days whether I would be able to perform the role or not. It was for the second time in my life that I felt the same dilemma while directing the documentary film on Shri Guruji. Making a documentary film on the personality like Shri Guruji is like picking pearls from the sea. Every moment of his life is inspiring for us and selecting several moments from those moments was definitely a Herculean task. But with the help of several people in the Sangh I could make it possible. This documentary film not only throws light on the life and work of Shri Guruji but also an effort has been made to show his farsighted vision,? he said. Shri Bhardwarj further said when the matter of making the documentary film was raised before him, he had suggested the name of several professional documentary film producers. But they were not ready to devote the time and energy the project needed. ?Later the Sarsanghachalak Shri Sudarshanji ordered me to take up the task. And there was no question for me to disobey the Sarsanghachalak?, he added.
