The muhurat of the documentary film being made on the life of Shri Guruji, the second Sarsanghachalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), was conducted in Bhopal on February 11. Apart from removing various misconceptions about the RSS, the film will throw light on the complete life of Shri Guruji. The film is expected to be ready by Varsha Pratipada, end of March. The film will be shown across the country during the the birth-centenary year of Shri Guruji, which begins on February 24 with a grand opening function held in Nagpur. Shri Deepak, a mathematics teacher from Deendayal Senior Secondary School of Kanpur, is acting as Shri Guruji.

The film is being directed by noted film actor and Madhya Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party secretary Shri Nitish Bhardwaj, who played Krishna in popular TV serial Mahabharat. The documentary will also depict the growth of RSS over the years and different challenges faced by it. Shri Bhardwaj has also written the script of the documentary. The documentary will be dubbed in various languages including English.

According to Shri Ram Madhav, spokesperson of RSS, who attended the muhurat ceremony, the film would seek to counter various charges and ?wrong? notions about the Sangh. ?The documentary will not only counter different charges being levelled against the Sangh but also seek to dispel misgivings and wrong notions about it, besides highlighting Shri Guruji's contributions,? Shri Ram Madhav told reporters at the muhurat of the documentary. ?Especially, doubts cast and charges levelled against RSS over Mahatma Gandhi'sassassination and Quit India Movement will be cleared and truth presented to the people through the documentary,? he said.
