RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Mohan Bhagwat said whenever the feeling of Hinduism weakens the country faces major onslaughts. He was speaking at the Vijayadashami function held on the premises of MVM college in Bhopal on October 12. Prominent among those who were present on the occasion were Shri Uttamchand Israni, Kshetra Sanghachalak, Shri Shashibhai Seth, Prant Sanghachalak, Dr Madhav Hari Kanhere, Vibhag Sanghachalak and Shri Kantilal Chatar, Mahanagar Sanghachalak. Earlier the uniformed Swayamsevaks performed physical drills. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Babulal Gaur was also present on the occasion.

Shri Bhagwat said the problem of terrorism has taken a global form because it was neglected right from the beginning. He said the feeling of uncontrolled consumption is threatening the environment. Wherever in the world good forces are active people are living in harmony, peace and prosperity but wherever the evil forces are dominating, people are languishing. He said most of the problems in the society are due to inactiveness of good people. ?It is because of inactiveness of good people that terrorism has adopted such a dreaded form. The growing tendency of selfishness has further put life in danger. India has much to give to the world. The so-called developed nations have various means of consumption but they do not have peace and happiness. That is why foreigners come to India in search of peace and sometimes they prefer to settle here.

?India got Independence in 1947 but we are still not free to implement the economic policies of our choice. Our freedom is not safe. We have to depend upon an earthquake to demolish the terrorist training camps being operated in our neighbouring countries. Our borders are not safe. China has come very close to Nepal and it is building roads from Nepal to Burma. China has built nine camps in Tibet. The Sri Lankan government too is building camps in the Maldives,? he said calling upon the people to always have the feeling of Hinduism in their heart.
