Atalji releases album of bhajans by VIIth class student

Former Prime Minister Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee released an audio cassette of bhajans-Radha Ekam Radha, Radha Duni Shayam at his residence in New Delhi recently. The bhajans have been sung by baby Charvi Virmani, a student of 7th standard at Manavsthali School, R.K.Puram. Releasing the cassette, Shri Vajpayee said the bhajans sung in the voice of the new generation was a good effort at giving a boost to our cultural heritage. Former chief minister of Delhi Shri Madan Lal Khurana was also present on the occasion.
The bhajans have been composed by Shri Sajan Shehri and music was given by Shri Chandra Kamal. Another cassette of patriotic songs sung by Charvi Virmani was released by Rama cassette company about two years ago. Charvi has been learning music for the last five years and has participated in various stage shows. She has completed her diploma in music from Allahabad University. She has done diploma in Kathak along with singing. She was honoured with the title, Melody Queen, by her school in 2003.
