Another swayamsevak killed in Kerala
FOC
It seems civilisation and evolution of the human being from the stone-age and barbarianism has not touched the CPM cadres. They still take prime in eliminating their adversaries in the most primitive, cruel and barbaric manner. Continuing their murderous orgy against RSS activists, the CPM cadres killed another RSS Swayamsevak, Elambilayi Sooraj in broad-day light in Muzhappilangad Kulam Bazar in Thalassery. Sooraj was returning home after visiting a friend and was pounced upon near his house by a mob of CPM activists. They were armed with swords and axes and began to attack every part of his body. They left after ensuring his death and his body remained lying in a pool of blood for almost an hour. The police arrived and took him to the Thalassery government hospital where he was decaled brought dead.
Sooraj had quit the CPM two years ago and had joined the RSS. The neighbourhood of his house is a CPM stronghold and he has been receiving threats to his life from that time onwards. Six months back he miraculously escaped from a CPM murderous attack and was in a hospital for six months. He was discharged only a few days ago.
Right from the days of lifting Emergency in 1977, thousands of CPM cadres all over the State had flocked to the RSS. This provoked the CPM for murderous attacks and the RSS has developed strength and resistance to counter these undemocratic means of the CPM.
Senior RSS and BJP leaders including Shri P.K. Krishnadas, K.K. Balram, etc. visited his house and took part in the cremation. They alleged that it was a planned murder committed by the CPM to scuttle the peaceful atmosphere prevailing in Kannur district. They also said that it was a clear warning by the CPM to anyone quitting it and joining the RSS. Meanwhile, the BJP state president Shri P.S. Sreedharan Pillai said in Thiruvananthapuram that the murder was a CPM tactic to divert public attention from the inner-party crisis in the CPM.
Right from the days of lifting Emergency in 1977, thousands of CPM cadres all over the state had flocked to the RSS. As a result Kannur has earned the notorious name of ?Killing fields of Kerala?.
