Tributes to P.D. Chitalangia

Shree Burrabazar Kumarsabha Pustakalaya along with various social, literary and cultural organisations of Kolkata organised a condolence meeting on June 17 to pay tributes to noted industrialist and social worker, Purushottamdas Chitalangia. Shri Vishvambhar Nevar, director of Chhapte-Chhapte newspaper group, presided over the meeting. Prominent among those who recalled the contribution of the late Chitalangia in nation-building included Shri Tathagat Roy, West Bengal BJP president, Shri Vimal Lath, chairman, Burrabazar Library, Shri Jugal Kishore Jaithalia of Burrabazar Kumarsabha Pustakalya, Shri Purushottam Mimani of Maheshawari Sabha and Shri Ajit Biswas of Rashtriya Adhyapak Manch. Paying tributes Shri Nevar said that commitment to the accepted ideology was the greatest quality of P.D. Chitalangia.
