The communists had supported both League'sdemand for Pakistan and government'soppressive measures during Quit India Movement of 1942. In a letter to Rajni Palme Dutt (August 12, 1945), Nehru wrote: At a time when there was bitter conflict between nationalism and the imperialist structure, they (the communists) appeared before the people as acting on the side of the latter? They have become full-blooded supporters of Jinnah'sdemands and in the name of the Congress-League unity, they demand a complete surrender by Congress to Jinnah. I have no doubt that they have worsened the communal problem by their attitude.? (Freedom Movement in India by Prof S.N. Sen; page 307)

The Congress is determined to follow the divide-and-rule policy (Arjun Singh'sdream Marxist education policy punctured, Organiser, 19-6-2005). It has been the mother head of communalism in this country. Arousing emotive issues and working on the sentiments of people by projecting itself to be the protector of minorities, it has let loose divisive forces in this county. It has only one motive behind all its moves-garnering minority votes. But in the process, the gap between the majority and the minority communities is widening. It is in this context that one must view the 50 per cent reservation made for the Muslims in the Aligarh Muslim University.

Apropos of the story A gap of concern (Organiser, 19-6-2005); the story is very informative and deserves accolades. When in the contemporary world, no one is willing to extend a helping hand, these kids are coming forward to help the illiterate in writing letters and sending their money through money-orders. It is also worth mentioning that now-a-days, when most of the newspapers bring out lecherous content and lay emphasis on increasing their advertisement revenue, Organiser is in the vanguard of providing readable and worthy content.

This refers to EU squirms under French ?non?, Dutch ?nee? (Organiser, 12-6-2005). Through referendum, the French have rightly preferred the death of EU against the loss of national liberty and economic sovereignty and enhanced employment due to imported cheaper Eastern European labour. The neo-imperialists, rather conservative capitalists, want to renew exploitation, reducing purchasing power of the masses. Need of the hour is to provide jobs for the natives with reasonable purchasing power.

Wanted more information:
The report Narad Jayanti celebrated (Organiser, 12-6-2005) makes interesting reading. It says Narad Jayanti was celebrated on May 25 all over the country. Sage Narad was the omnipresent legendary patrakar of the gods, demons and the human beings. I would like to know more about the Narad Jayanti, i.e. why and how was May 25 selected as the date for celebration of Narad Jayanti and what is the mythology associated with this celebration? I could not find any mention of Narad Jayanti in the Indian calendar or other astrological magazines I have read.

I have been reading Organiser for over 10 years. I request you not to publish the Congress advertisements in Organiser. The issue of Organiser (12-6-2005) carried an advertisement with the pictures of Rajiv Gandhi, Dr Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi and Shiela Dikshit. My earnest request is that only nationalist advertisements should be published in Organiser, not Congress party'sadvertisements.

This refers to The Prime Minister or a puppet? (Organiser, 12-6-2005). Dr Manmohan Singh, as an experienced bureaucrat, knows all the nuances of writing annual self-assessment reports. In babu'sparlance, 60 per cent is considered to be ?so-so?. It entitles him to continue in his post. No wonder, his ?insecure? boss is highly pleased with this self-assessment, as it does not pose any threat to her or her son. Also as a clever man, he has made it clear that his loyalty is only to his boss. India, its Constitution, its democracy and its voters do not count with him. He and his boss have got away with this public confession. Like Caesar'swife, they can do no wrong, according to our ?secular? media.
