Success story of Vidya Bharati
It is the success story of Saraswati Vidya Mandirs run by Vidya Bharati, Akhil Bharatiya Siksha Sansthan, in imparting moral and culture based education in the state. In the High School Certificate Examination, 2005 conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Orissa (BSE), these national schools have played a legendary role and have emerged as model of quality education.
According to information six students of different Saraswati Vidya Mandirs (SVMs ) topped in the best ten this year. Among them Joytiranjan Beauria of SVM, Gatirout Patna, Cuttack has received a third position with 706 marks. Swamyajit Panigrahi of SVM, Nilakantha Nagar, Berhampur has stood 10th with 698 marks. Other four are the products of Saraswati Vidya Mandir, F.M. Nagar, Bhubaneswar. They are Subhashree Madhual (6th), Subhadarshini Sahoo (8th), Padmini Sahoo and Ghungur Mishra both (10th) with 698 marks each. Joyti Ranjan who has come third, aims to become a scientist in future. ? I will serve the country as a scientist. My role model is Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam,? said Joyti.

Nearly 1,83,379 candidates have reportedly passed out and the percentage of result stands at 55.66 per cent. It was 52.54 per cent in the previous year. Thus an increase of about 3.12 per cent is seen this year. Nagendra Nath Pradhan, Minister for Elementary Education has congratulated Vidya Bharati on its grand success.
