Hindusthan Samachar

A delegation of four prominent Hindu-Buddhist saints is on a tour of Asian countries. Before their departure on May 7, a felicitation function was organised in Kolkata by the south Bengal unit of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad. The delegation will visit 21 countries in three parts. According to Shri Balkrishan Naik, a senior VHP leader, the delegation will tour Asian countries for better coordination amongst Buddhist, Shinto, Tao and other ancient traditions. They will meet individually as well as jointly to various sadhus, sanyasis, monks, spiritual masters, community leaders, philosophers, historians and persons engaged in cultural and philosophic endeavours. The delegation also aims at receiving blessings and guidance from religious leaders and elders of ancient traditions as it would help in preparing the ground for the international meet of dhramacharyas and elders of ancient traditions in the year 2007 at Prayag, India.
