?It is necessary that information about health services should reach to the masses. About 35 to 40 per cent people of our country are unaware of basic information on health. In such a situation the information on such vital issues could be useful for people. The basic reason, WHO failed to achieve its goal of heath for all is not lack of facilities but lack of knowledge among people,? said Shri Suresh Joshi, Sahsarkaryavah of RSS. Shri Joshi, who is popularly known as Bhaiyaji Joshi, was speaking at a function organised by Vishwa Samvad Kendra, Gujarat, on April 3 to release a book, Gujarat Medical Samvad by renowned cardiologist Dr Ashwin Mehta.

Shri Joshi said, ?Though the health information compiled in the book would be useful for the society, we should while thinking about the illnesses and the diseases, we should also think for healthy life.? He appreciated the efforts of the Vishwa Samvad Kendra for publishing the useful book for the society. ?At the time when the media is trying to create a different kind of atmosphere in the society without thinking about its usefulness, the network of Vishwa Samvad Kendra is providing healthy and useful information to the people,? he said.

Releasing the book, Dr Ashwin Mehta stressed the need to take the information, compiled in the book, to the remote areas of the country. ?Though, most of the information compiled in the book is available on internet, the books are the best medium to take them to the common man as internet is not available to the common masses.? He appreciated the efforts of Vishwa Samvad Kendra.

Shri Mukund Deobhankar, who compiled the book, introduced the book. Dr Tushar Shah, a cardiologist, presented it through multi-media. Shri Pradip Jain informed the audience of the activities of Vishwa Samvad Kendra.
