Four persons including three foreign nationals, of whom Sayed Ahmed Choudhary and Juved Ahmed Khan were Bangladeshis, had been detained by the police on the basis of information from Delhi Police. They have been caught with more than 10,000 sim cards and are suspected to be in link with an international gang in drug trafficking and terrorism. A senior police officer of Orissa government disclosed that the three foreigners had international links and they were in regular touch with their contacts in Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi and Karachi. They are still being interrogated.
In Bhubaneswar there are more than 20,000 Muslim infiltrators among whom a sizeable section are ISI agents, said Shri Ashok Sahu, President, Hindu Jagaran Samukhya. Shri Sahu has urged the Chief Minister, Shri Naveen Patnaik to activate the local police for detection and deportation of more than five lakh Muslim infiltrators in different parts of the state.
The move to deport alleged Bangladeshis from Kendrapara district in Orissa has been stopped following instructions from the central government due to the vociferous protests by the Hindu Jagaran Samukhya and the BJP in the state. Samukhya had organised a protest rally in Ramnagar, where more than 10,000 people had participated. The Samukhya has asserted that Hindu migrants from any part of the world can not be a foreigners in this country. Bangladesh and Pakistan were carved out of India but the Hindus there are forced to leave these two Islamic states due to religious persecution.
The Central Government has failed to frame a clear policy even after 57 years of Independence with regard to the Hindu migrants, as these cases are different from the Muslim infiltrators. The State Government should investigate into the cases on five lakh Muslim infiltrators strewn over 34 urban areas in Orissa. A protest rally was also organised by the Samukhya in front of the Kendrapara Collector'soffice and was addressed by Rudra Narayan Pani and Kharabela Swain, both Members of Parliament.
Samukhya President, Shri Sahu has cautioned the state about the grave situation in Orissa.
