Shri Prabhu Chawla, editor, India Today, who had been directed by the Judicial Magistrate of Jagadhari to appear in person in the court on December 24 in a defamation case filed by the Haryana Prant Sanghchalak of RSS, has been asked to appear in court on January 25. Shri Chawla had to appear in the court on December 24 but citing reasons of ill health, he did not turn up for the hearing. Shri Chawla, in an article published in India Today in 2003, had written that Nathuram Godse had killed Mahatma Gandhi as the former was deeply impressed with RSS ideology.
