Investigations have revealed that the goons suspected to be Samajwadi Party workers, who killed senior RSS activist, Gyandendra Maheshwari in Kasganj on August 8, are history-sheeters and they violated the bonds that they had furnished in the police station last year. Senior Superintendent of Police, Anand Swaroop, while talking to mediapersons, said that the administration would take action against the accused under the National Security Act (NSA) and the Gangster Act. He said the property belonging to the accused would soon be attached. Meanwhile, taking the incident seriously, the Additional Superintendent of Police, Ashfaq Ahmed, has sent the Sub-Inspector of Sorogate Police Station, Mohammad Hanif and six other policemen to police lines. Meanwhile, a condolence meeting was organised at clock tower in Kasganj by the Sewa Vibhag of the RSS to pay homage to Gyanendra Maheshwari. Prominent leaders belonging to all walks of life paid their respect to him and remembered his dedication to the society. The killed Sangh worker'sbrother, Sharad Maheshwari, has field an FIR naming SP leaders Charan Singh Yadav and Banvari Singh Yadav, Students Union president, Majoj Yadav and his associates Avadhesh Yadav, Shekhar Yadav, Rambabu Yadav and Dharmendra as the culprits. Charan Singh Yadav was caught on the spot on August 8 and is still in police custody.
