The Indian Postal Department wing of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) achieved a major success when the Indian Postal State Bank Control Organisation Staff Association (IPSBCOSA), at its two-day national convention held in Kanpur recently, resolved to affiliate itself with the BMS. Since 1990 the Association has not been associated with any federation.
S.P. Kulkarni, general secretary of the Association, said that the Association while amending its constitution had decided to adopt the policies of the BMS in pursuance of national interest and had renamed the Association as State Bank Control Organisation Karmachari Sangh. The Association also adopted the flag of the BMS. Prominent among those who attended the convention include V.S. Yadav, general secretary, Indian Postal Workers Mahasangh; Vidyadhar Pathak, Santosh Singh, S.P. Pathak, Tej Bahadur Singh Sachan and Balakram Gupta of the Association. (VSK)
