The Vishwa Samvad Kendra, Lucknow, has come out with a special issue highlighting the life and problems of nine crore vanvasis of the country. The 150-page issue is in Hindi and contains articles by eminent experts on Vanvasi matters. The special issue provides comprehensive information on vanvasi saints, freedom fighters, historical background, glorious past of different Vanvasi communities, social, religious and freedom movements among Vanvasis, role of Vanvasi in freedom movement, social, political, health and educational problems of Vanvasis, Bhopal Declaration of Dalit Sammelan, conspiracies of Christian Missionaries to remove Vanvasis from their roots, forest laws, work of Akhil Bharatiya Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram among Vanvasis and how it is trying to bring them to mainstream.
