Ayodhya: The selection process for the first full-time Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has entered its final stage after the Search Committee completed interviews of 16 shortlisted candidates.
The final rounds were held at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra campus in Ayodhya on August 11 and 12. The process was designed to identify a candidate capable of handling the growing administrative, managerial and technological responsibilities associated with the Trust.

16 candidates shortlisted for final round
The 16 candidates invited for face-to-face interaction were selected following an earlier online assessment. They represent a wide range of professional backgrounds, including the defence services, bureaucracy, corporate and industrial sectors, education and information technology.
The diversity of the candidate pool reflects the broad responsibilities expected from the Trust’s first full-time CEO.
During the evaluation, the Search Committee examined candidates on several parameters, including management skills, personality, leadership potential, vision, strategic planning and expertise in technology.
The interviews were conducted behind closed doors at the Green House located within the temple complex.
Before appearing for their interviews, the candidates were also taken on a tour of the temple complex.
Search Committee to recommend three names
With the interview stage now complete, the Search Committee will undertake a detailed evaluation of the 16 candidates.
Following this assessment, the committee is expected to prepare a panel of three names and submit it to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
The final decision on the appointment will rest with the Trust, which will subsequently announce the name of the first full-time CEO.
Why the CEO appointment matters
The appointment assumes significance as the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust continues to manage the affairs connected with the Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex and its associated activities.
