Islamabad/Kabul: Pakistan has conducted massive drone attacks across 10 locations of Afghanistan. Previously, on September 21, Monday, Pakistan had carried out air strikes on some locations of Afghanistan. Islamabad’s attack on Kunar and Paktika provines of Afghanistan has led to the death of three civilians.

Continous escalation of air strikes by Pakistan

A couple of days ago, Pakistan had carried out air strikes on Afghanistan territory claiming it had targeted the terrorist infrastructure. These air strikes on terrorist sites “in the border region with Afghanistan” had led to killing of more than 28 terrorists, the Information Ministry of Pakistan had said. However, the credibility is under scanner, as Islamabad has killed many innocent lives, in the name of counter-terrorism.

Incidentally, Fitna al Khwarij is the official name of the Tehreek Taliban Pakistan (TTP) which were friendly to Pakistani forces some years ago. The repeated air strikes come a few days after a major attack in the old Police Lines in Khybder Pakhtunkhwa’s Kohat district on Friday (September 18) which claimed 23 lives and injured about 100 others, mostly policemen.

Pakistan had also launched Operation Ghazab lil Haq against terrorist hideouts. however, the credibility of these operations is questionned as Islamabad continous to operate as a safe-haven to nurture cross-border terrorism. Is Islamabad only pretending loudly as an advocate of regional peace & security and trying to fool the world, while silently brewing terror networks.

Pakistan also carried out strikes in the border region with Afghanistan in late June, with the government saying they were in response to a wave of terrorist attacks, including one in Karachi. At the time, Pakistan claimed that 25 terrorists were killed in those strikes in Paktia, Paktika and Kunar. Pakistan also said that it carrried out similar attacks on terrorist hideouts along its border with Afghanistan earlier that month, killing 26 terrorists. However, in the name of counter-terror operations, many innocent lives have been killed.
