NEW DELHI: If you have been seeing the Delhi protests videos of Monday morning with an open mind, it is amply evident that some nefarious elements have hijacked the so-called NEET-related protests (CJP “Chalo Sansad” march around Jantar Mantar/Parliament area, mainly July 20-21, 2026).
The mob led to the barricading before the nation’s Parliament House began attacking the police standing at the final frontier of the premises where the Monsoon Session has begun and is in progress.
Then some of the protesters began attacking the police and paramilitary personnel and then the security cracked down to control the situation. Crowds clashed with police and resorted to stone-pelting on police and Rapid Action Force (RAF).
A video going viral shows this one saree-clad woman with a tonsured head and nose-ring in various stages of natya ras at various times. Sometimes, she is crying and alleging that the police are being harsh to the so-called student protesters. She is seen crying inside a car that she is ashamed of being a Hindu.
In yet another video she is seen asking the mob to catch hold of any police personnel they see, especially near their house and beat them black and blue.
Her YouTube bio says: “MANA is a yogi and astrologer who has transformed the lives of thousands of people with her ancient wisdom combined with modern manifestation tools. You can find her in Rishikesh where she runs a mediation Center by the holy river Ganga. Mana has degrees in business, design and interestingly a degree in filmmaking and direction from UCLA, Los Angeles. After many successful entrepreneurial ventures, she is now fully dedicated to serving humanity with her knowledge and on a mission to help people of Bharat become wealthy healthy and wise.”
This woman Mana is said to be running an NGO and is also said to be charging a hefty fee of Rs 22,000 + GST for a 7-day retreat at her ashram in Rishikesh. Apparently. the Modi government crackdown on NGOs using foreign funds has angered her, say some.
The Indian government uses FCRA to stop foreign-funded activities like religious conversions/proselytization, anti-development protests and agitation, disruption of social/religious harmony, and links to radical groups.
Funds for all these nefarious anti-India activities were being routed through NGOs and therefore the crackdown.
The Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026 (FCRA Amendment Bill) is on the agenda for India’s ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament (July 20–August 13, 2026).
The government plans to push this bill to further tighten rules on foreign funding to NGOs/associations.
Main proposals: Create a designated authority (govt-appointed) to take over, manage, or dispose of foreign funds + assets (e.g., property built with them) when an org’s FCRA registration is cancelled, surrendered, expired, or not renewed. It also adds timelines for fund use, automatic cessation of registration in some cases, prior approval for investigations, and reduced max imprisonment for violations (from 5 to 1 year).
It was introduced in Lok Sabha earlier (March 2026) but faced opposition protests over concerns about executive overreach. The Monsoon Session is when it is likely to be debated/passed. Other issues (NEET, delimitation, etc.) may dominate, but FCRA is a listed legislative priority.

The govt also targets financial misuse (diversion, false reporting) but the core focus is preventing foreign influence on internal affairs, conversions, and disruptive protests.
And that is how the government has fallen out of favour with this woman who in one post says: Modi ji I used to consider you God. Now she has nothing but hatred and abuses that she weaponises at the Delhi protests to instigate youths to lynch the guardian forces – the police and the para military.
Sample this use of expletives by her filled with terms for genitalia interspersed between words in every sentence.
A little search on the internet reveals that woman seen openly instigating CJP protestors to attack any police personnel in uniform runs an ashram in Rishikesh (http://aumana.in). And that she is a mother of two and normally lives in her ashram full-time in Rishikesh (Ganga Niketan, near Ram Jhula, Swarg Ashram area)… and that “she keeps personal details (beyond professional/spiritual journey) relatively private.”
The recent protests are not organic and that is clear. Amidst the orchestrated anarchy and violence wreaked by unhinged protesters sponsored by certain political parties who have been sore since losing power.
Noted lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani says: “This is not a student protest anymore. This is an anarchy project wearing a student ID card.”
Jethmalani points out that the mayhem organised by the nefarious elements has left 118 cops injured, scores of protesters injured, public property damaged, 15–20 government vehicles attacked, dozens detained, multiple FIRs and charges of rioting, assault on public servants and destruction of public property.
Here is how the unhinged mob has been targeting and attempting the lynching of paramilitary and police personnel who are under strict orders to not use fire power or excessive force on the rioting crowd.
These visuals from Tuesday show how a RAF officer was near lynched to death. Nihangs showed up with lathis. Swords were waved at the police officers and the crowd chanting Jai Bheem and Jai Meem slogans was instigating fellow protesters to attack police personnel.
Some elements have even begun claiming that Delhi Police have used pellet guns on protesters. The Delhi Police have officially denied any such claim and clearly stated that “Claims stating that Delhi Police forces used pellet guns against peaceful protesters yesterday are completely false and misleading. Delhi Police neither possess pellet guns nor do they use them in the ongoing protest. The public is requested not to share or circulate any unverified or misleading information.”
Standard crowd control protocol in India for such protests uses minimum force: lathi charges, tear gas, water cannons, and barricades first. Firearms (especially lethal) are a last resort under strict guidelines, typically only in life-threatening situations to prevent riots escalating into broader violence or casualties.
Other factors that render police personnel easy targets who cannot fire back normally are the operation being in high-security zone near Parliament (prohibitory orders under BNS Section 163), orders to exercise restraint due to political sensitivity of student/youth protests, media scrutiny, and legal accountability (e.g., Supreme Court guidelines on force). RAF/ police aim to disperse rather than engage lethally unless absolutely necessary.
