This is heralding the rise of India amidst geopolitical and geo-economic volatilities unravelling across the globe. Youth earmarking India’s progress in science education & innovation
India has heralded remarkable victory in the science & education domain in recent days. However, no western media highlights it. On July 19, 2026, India won 4 gold medals at the International Chemistry Olympiad, thus secured first place. This has been India’s best-ever performance in the prestigious global competition. Similarly, in the International Biology Olympiad, India won one gold and three silver medals. The Department of Atomic Energy said that students from 78 countries participated in the event. Similarly, young Indian minds won 5 gold medals at the 56th International Physics Olympiad.

On July 19, Skyroot Aerospace successfully launched India’s maiden privately developed orbital-class rocket Vikram 1, to Low Earth Orbit(LEO). Incredible progress in indigenous defence technology
On July 14, DRDO successfully completed military field trials of an indigenous, scalable and practically secure fibre-based Quantum Key Distribution(QKD), which is a system to secure strategic communications. This is, future proofing of India’s strategic communication network with quantum technology. DRDO in partnership with Bengaluru-based tech firm, has advanced this cutting-edge technology, to secure critical & strategic infrastructure. QKD, an indigenously designed and developed technology, aids to seamlessly safeguard national communication networks against cyber threats.

ISRO also announced plans for a new Satellite Earth Station campus near Ledo in Assam to strengthen space communication in the Northeastern region. Similarly, ISRO successfully conducted the hot test of semi-cryogenic engine power head at 175 tonnes thrust level.

Infrastructure growth: Powering connectivity & ease-of-mobility
On July 17, PM Modi flagged-off India’s first indigenous hydrogen passenger train from Haryana. Thus, India is marching in the path of innovation, indigenous tech growth, ease-of-mobility and infrastructure growth. Defence appartus: To consolidate national security architecture
In the defence sector, India commissioned INS Mahendragiri into the Eastern Fleet at Visakhapatnam. It is built with more than 75 per cent of the indigenous elements, with advanced radar and stealth fighting mechanisms. It is a multi-role warship and is heavily equipped with BrahMos supersonic cruise missile and other complex weapon systems. The warship can operate with a sophisticated Integrated Combat Management System(ICMS) and is capable of neutralising intruding threats from air, surface and submarine, thus helping to seal maritime security and national security at large.

Similarly, in the month of June, Prime Minister Modi commissioned three indigenously built warships in Kolkata, INS Dunagiri(Project 17A stealth frigate), INS Sanshodhak (hydrographic survey vessel) and INS Agray(ASW shallow water craft). Nuclear Technology: Marching towards clean energy goals
A nuclear heat-based hydrogen production facility(copper-chlorine thermochemical cycle) has been commissioned at Kalpakkam using Fast Breeder Reactor process heat. This facility at Kalpakam, is the world’s first nuclear hydrogen plant that adds to India’s clean energy goals, as it produces carbon-free hydrogen. This facility at Kalpakam fulfills three goals of India pertaining to energy security & clean energy, tech self-reliance and civil nuclear programme.

India is thus marching in the path of overarching progress across all sectors. However, the western media rarely highlights these growing capacities and credentials of India, instead is indulged in negative publicity and relentless campaign, accelerating fake narratives. It is high time, Indians realise the stellar potential, capabilities and achievements of the country and its manpower, thereby dismantling the fake narrative net weaved by the western media. India should also stop looking at its story from the western prism and acknowledge, envision what matters to the country and its real progress!
