Odisha: A grand Hindu Sammelan was organised at the Chemedas Matha ground in Nilakantha Adikundi area of Kendrapara district on January 27 with the objective of protecting Sanatan Dharma and preserving Bharatiya culture. The event was held under the theme “Resolve for Unity,”emphasising collective responsibility towards safeguarding Hindu religion and cultural heritage. The programme witnessed the presence of respected religious and social leaders, including Pujya Mahant Ramakrishna Das Maharaj of Radhaballabh Math, Puri, and Kalpana Tripathy, who graced the occasion as chief guests and delivered their blessings and inspirational messages.

They called upon society to unite and work collectively for the protection of Hindu Dharma and Bharat Mata. On this occasion, individuals actively working for cultural preservation—Ranjan Kumar Muduli, Akshay Kumar Nath, Khageswar Lenka, Prasanna Hota, Shashank Kumar Jena, Madhab Pradhan, Lakshmi Sagar Mohanty, Sushil Das, Debashish Nayak, Pankaj Pradhan, and Purnachandra Das—were honoured with the ‘Shree Jagannath Sanskriti Rakshak Samman.’ The awards were presented by the Shree Jagannath Sanskriti Prachar Sansthan in recognition of their contributions to the promotion and protection of Jagannath sanskriti.

Prominent personalities including Dr Narayan Mohapatra, Bharati Bhushan Pattnaik, Trilochan Nayak, Bijay Panda, Srinibas Rao, Chakradhara Majhi, and Sarat Mohapatra also attended the event. Speakers highlighted the importance of constant inspiration, national pride, and nurturing patriotism while preserving cultural values. They emphasised that true Dharma lies in justice and truth, and the greatest success for society is to walk the path of righteousness while upholding cultural integrity.
